I have owned many helmets and not just the cheap ones. My last one was a $300 O’Neal and this one trumps it in fit and weight. Very comfortable. Is it safer than the more expensive one? Only one way to tell. I trust this one. Go according to the size chart and you'll be fine and don't say it doesn't fit because the cheek pads are too tight. You have to break in a helmet just like a pair of shoes, not all of our heads are the same.

Order a size larger than normal. An XL fit me nicely, although I usually wear a large. Good for roundish-oval head shapes. The AFX is nicely detailed and full of features. The liner is comfortable, and the helmet feels very light, both in the hand and on the head. I would recommend this helmet for ATV use and trail riding. It's not a full-on competition helmet, but doesn't come at the corresponding price, either.

Helmet is great with simplistic stylish looks. My riding skills are not worthy of a lot graphics. The fit is alot smaller than what my head measures. My head measured a medium and a medium was nearly impossible to put on my head. A large works but an extra large could even fit I believe. No problems exchanging.
Very nice helmet for the price.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my nephew. I was impressed with the workmanship, style and quality of the helmet. I was also pleased with the quick mailing response I received from Motorcycle Superstore. Unfortunately, it did not fit my nephew and was more helmet than he had envisioned so I had to return it. I was again impressed with Motorcycle Superstore's easy return process

This is a great helmet. I particularly like the snap for the tail of the strap so the strap does not blow in the wind while riding.

I bought this helmet because no matter what helmet flat(matte)black helmet I looked for the FX-19 stood out from the rest. After receiving my helmet it felt a little tight because i had to break it in but after that it’s been great not to mention it’s a great price!!
