For hot days, this is my pick. I can feel any slight breeze when stopped. Doesn't feel as light as my HJC AC-X3, but I do appreciate the airflow for desert riding.

Coool Lid
This is a great hot day helmet. The cooling from the air inlets is BIG. Lots of airflow but if it starts raining or it's muddy, that's coming in those top vents too. So save it for the hot dry days. Love the looks and the finish is perfect. Does not fit as well as my Troy Lee Design lid but the cooling and style make me wear it often.

Coolest Helmet Ever!
This helmet is a great investment, it comes with cold weather inserts and warm weather inserts and two visors and a helmet case, it’s light and comfortable and it keeps you nice and cool, and also looks great.

The airflow isn't very good when you’re riding slow technical trails. At higher speeds you can feel some air hit your head but it wasn’t enough to cool my hot and sweaty head. My second ride with this Helmet I grazed a branch and broke the two scoops on top of the Helmet clean off. Mud and debris would also get stuck in the scoops (when I had them)so I was constantly cleaning them out. This Helmet might work some people for different riding styles ( open & fast riding) but it's not working for me.

An Amazing Helmet
After weeks trying on literally everything available at all price points, this lid finally landed at my door. Great fit out of the box for a hard to fit melon like mine. VERY soft interior foam that still feels supportive. Great graphics, subdued and rich looking but not moto. The extras are awesome; 3 visors, extra thicker cheek pads, extra cold weather Gore Tex Windstopper liner, 2 cold weather mouthport/chinguard covers, excellent bag. The guys at Klim put a lot of thought into this system and it shows. Have not ridden in warm weather yet so I cannot truly assess the ventilation, but should be quite good.
