Frogg Toggs Leep Frogg Rainsuit
The new Leep Frogg suit is much like the Road Toad, but includes a two-tone Bomber-style jacket. The jacket is constructed of Frogg Toggs “classic” breathable, waterproof, nonwoven polypropylene and features a new false cape design to prevent ballooning when traveling at high speeds. A full cut design allows the suit to be worn over a variety of insulated clothing. All snaps and zippers are nickel plated to prevent rusting. Leap Frog Rainsuit
Just to give you a heads upon the type of rider I am, I'm a scooter pilot commuting to work wearing a tie and dress shirt. The Non-woven material makes the material seem cheap and ready to stretch and break. I probably wouldn't come near this suit with Velcro. The material feels as if Velcro will grab and tear the fabric. In my opinion, the material my tent is made out of is tougher than this suit. The design looks nice. The colors...well it reminds me of a sauna suit. The size seems okay to me for the pants with the Velcro and zippered bottoms makes up for the material. I would like to try the top over a Corazzo 5.0 armored jacket. It will seem like a tight fit. It comes with a nifty carrying pouch. I don't expect to make a fashion statement with this suit but it will do very well in an emergency if I get caught in the rain. So it will be sitting in my Vespa's "pet Carrier." As I wait for the rain to come, this suit doesn't have a feel of permanency in which it wouldn't last a long time. For the price and the mission, this suit's will performance seems very reasonable. If the material were made of some ballistic nylon or better, the suit would be awesome.
