Excellent Boots for the Money
These boots were a great value. They are initially pretty stiff and make shifting a bit vague. I bought them for off-road dual sport riding and wanted more support. They offer lots of protection but take time to break in. Not nearly as stiff as other higher end motocross boots however. A good value overall.

I was looking for some boots for my wife on Craigslist, eBay, etc. I found used ones for about the same price (incl. shipping) I paid for these new here so it was a no brainer, + I knew I could return them if not OK; well, that wasn't the case, while it says "men", there is basically no difference in boot and they fit perfect. Great quality, good look and at a nice price, already wear them few times and they worked perfect from day one, no discomfort or anything. Overall completely satisfied.

I was able to try a pair of these at my brothers before I bought mine. So I knew they were good. For the price they are incredible. As others have said they are very stiff so you cannot walk far in them. The buckles do not seem tough and they have a lot of plastic around them. On my first ride it down poured and my feet were the only dry thing on me. I rode in a OHV park and found them very stable while jumping. I am a true 9.5 foot and the 10 is a little roomy as expected. They provide great protection which is why I bought them. With Motorcycle Superstore’s shipping and low prices, get'em if you need'em.

I purchased the boot for my son and he loves them. We haven't had a chance to use the boots much but so far the quality seems to be good for the price. The sizes do run a little small and the boots are quite tall. So if you wear a knee brace there might be a little issue. I am satisfied with this product, in fact I did purchase another pair for myself. I would recommend these boots. Great for the price.

Oneal Element boots
The boots are great and seem to hold up really well. They open up real wide to insert or remove your foot easily. The only gripe is the adjustment straps on each latch are a bit tricky. Once you adjust them down tight its a pain in the butt to loosen them back out in case you had thicker pants or something in the boot. Other than that they are great boots, especially for the price I got them on closeout.

Good boots
Started riding a while back and decided to buy boots, well of course I wasn’t going to buy expensive boots so I bought the cheapest ones I could find and couldn’t be happier. Really hard to shift until you put a couple miles on them and then their nice boots. They are really comfortable and keep you dry up to the top of the boot. They do run a little small in sizes so maybe buying the next size up isn’t a bad idea, it worked for me.

The scoring is misguided...the biggest issue with these boots is that it’s almost impossible to find the gear!!! Oneal is a company with many years in MotoX boots but failed miserably with these. I bought these boots and the height of the boot to the ratio of the gears on any bike just don’t work out, you will end up mis-shifting at almost every turn. I was so sad I bought these boots and there is not enough foot play so you feel so restricted.

I ended up trying two pairs of these boots but found that I could not get a good fit. They are well made and for the money, they appear to be a great value, but the felt very boxy in a size large enough for my foot and way too tight at pressure points in the smaller size. I just could not live with the very boxy feel. However, my brother got the same pair at the same time and has worn his for three riding sessions and now likes them. I opted to purchase the Thor Quadrant boots and really, really like them. They fit well and appear to be well made. They are, however, almost twice the cost of the O’Neal’s.

Element boots - not bad for the price
I have worn these boots about 6 times now and they are very comfortable and easy on the feet to wear. The biggest complain that I have about them is the top part over your foot itself is very thick and I have a hard time shifting or getting my foot under the shifter. Need to move the shifter up a notch or so.

Nice boots for dual-sporting
I picked up these boots as a cheap beginner DS boot. So far they're held up well. The buckle, although plastic, seem strong. My foot is cradled well inside the boot, and I feel my shins, etc. would be fairly well protected in the majority of crashes.

There does not appear to be a good way of loosening the barbed buckles if you want to loosen them. My 1st boot, so I am not used to not feeling the shifter on the top of my foot. I don't ride without them though.

If you are beginning and want a pair of cheap effective boots, I HIGHLY recommend these. These are awesome, comfortable from the start, and once broken in they pivot alright for shifting. They offer great protection. They also come off and get on fairly quickly and easily. One draw back is the poor ventilation, but for the price, they can't be beat.

The Element boot is hard to beat for the price. Although I would have liked a little more leather construction, these do fine (need a little more time breaking in). The plastic straps have done a fine job so far in sub zero weather (no cracking).

I bought these boots because I was on a budget, but these boots are great for their price! They have good all-around protection, and not of the buckles have broken, despite me tightening them the tightest they go. But the only thing that I didn't like was that they didn't come in a white/blue color. That would've been cool, but other than that these are great boots. Some water can still get into them through the top though.

2007 Element
This was my second pair of Element boots. The plastic buckles are of poor quality and one has broken on each pair with minimal use. The costs of the boots are inexpensive. The 2007 have a better design than the previous version and it's much easier to get in and out of... In the water your feet will still get wet. I'm not too sure what that kind of standard to measure this against since I've only worn the Element boots. Also, I did receive a foot injury while wearing the boot but assume it woul

2007 Element Boot
I bought these because alpine stars were getting fixed and had a Grand Prix race next weekend. But wow! Oneal has stepped up from the earlier version of elements. Super comfy, broke in quickly, but after 1st ride when taking them off, I had a buckle break. It was the plastic that holds the metal hinge. The part screws off and on, but finding it has been a challenge. I give the boot 5 stars anyway. Warm, dry, and has stood up to the treatment I have dished out.

After riding with them for 2 rides about 10 hours I noticed a small tear in one of the seams of the heal of the boot. I had not wrecked or anything else I deem to be the cause of the rip. What an improvement over the 2005 model. The steel shank and the support at the ankle are much improved. The buckles are heavier made and much more adjustable. Very comfortable. I don’t see another boot with this much quality for the money.

I recently put these boots to the test with a 40 mile ride through some pretty harsh territory in Lancaster, California. The boots fit great and stood up to countless rocks and other debris I found along the way... I am really impressed at the level of comfort these boots had...My feet were fine and I could have kept on riding for another hour or so...
