Short boots are great.
Great shorty boots, fits great right out of the box, straps clamp down solid. I wanted a short boot for when I'm doing a lot of road riding so they'd be cooler down here in Florida keeping cool while riding is a battle. I wear taller boots off road but they can be hot for just running the highways. These shorty’s are great. Look good too.

good boot
I wear these for my road boot. I would use them for mild dual sport riding also. I generally wear my tech7 or scott 450's for any real dual sport or off road riding. I really love my tech7 boots. The A-star are a real american fit , good for a little wider feet like mine. I have problems with italian boots being to narrow for me. If you are looking for a light dual sport boot or road boot with good protection that you can still walk around the store in. These are a great boot.

AQ Stars Tech 2 Boot
I love these boots, but haven't really crashed in them yet. They fit great and are truly waterproof so long as the water isn't deep. They don't offer the protection of a real offroad boot, but they sure are comfortable.

Grest boots
I love these boots and would recommend them. They really are waterproof, but being so short it's still easy to get water in them, and they don't provide the protection of a real off-road boot. But I'm totally happy with them. I am hard to fit in shoes, and these work great for me. I've yet to see how durable they are, but they survived a week of Colorado trail riding and are still like new.

Awesome boots
These are great boots. I've been riding for over 16 years and these are the first boots I purchased for this purpose. Now my feet don't get wet and they stay warm. They took some getting used to because you can't feel the shift lever like with a regular shoe. But once I got used to them, I love them. They're comfortable and seem well built. Can't say how durable they are yet, only have them a few months but so far so good.

Great Boot
I recently bought them for a ride from Budapest to Dubrovnik. They worked great. I rode over 2500km over the week in a variety of conditions. They gave me lots of confidence. They are very comfortable and my feet stayed quite cool on some smoking hot days.

These boots rock! The fit and finish are nothing short of perfect; exactly what I expected from Alpinestars. BUY THESE BOOTS! They are sturdy, hardy and comfortable. They look good too... I got three dates with beautiful women while wearing these boots. Who needs Pheromones? Get a pair of Alpinestars Tech 2's.
