Great quality, well made, size is right on very stiff. As far as the buckles go much tougher to unhook than a ski boot (which will slap off). It seems to vary from buckle to buckle. I have one that refused to come off, if you open the buckle, then put your finger in the opening it creates and pull (or push) the latching pin from its socket it pops out. Great boot regardless of the cost.

These boots get a" two thumbs - up " from me. First the boots are well worth the price, the buckles may not be the best but for the price they are great. The second thumbs-up comes for the superstore, the boots run a little large so I had to exchange my first order for a smaller size, and customer service at the superstore could not be better, it's just the best !

These boots are amazing! I don't know why people complain about the buckles because they are really easy to opperate. The protection is supurb and they are really comfortable. I have had both tech 7s and 3s and from my experience the 3s are a lot better. There is padding around your malieolus bone which adds to comfort and protection. They are stiff right out of the box. I would highly recommend these boots to anyone. Great for any type of riding. I race harescrambles.

Fit really well out of the box. Really comfortable actually. The straps do suck on these things. They are just clunky. Everything else is great.

These are the 1st set of ASTARS ever-used to get msr atv boots. the A Stars fit & finish are way better than msr boots by far but the buckles are a pain to open after a ride or gncc race, almost have a full year on these boots trail riding & few races & held up fine & soles have as well,I run Rath racing footpegs & they are super sharp!!! Hey Alpinestars, fix the buckles on an otherwise awesome boot!!!!

I got mine for $150 at a local shop so a bit pricy on here. still an awesome boot. my only complaint is the D*mn buckle system. take me 15 min. to get 'em off but i still love them!!

These boots last forever. I have used a pair of Tech 3s for 4 years and they are still in great shape.
