The most uncomfortable boot I've ever put my foot in
March 05, 2013(Clarksville , TN)
The internal ankle pivot booties gouge your ankles. Once you put them on you'll see. Like I said, the most uncomfortable boot I've ever tried on and I've been riding since 1995. They are also larger and even more bulky than some traditional soled boots. I have worn sidi SRS for 3 years, and I can say the tech10's are less quality, far more clumsy, and are probably destroying ankles out there by the dozen. The tech 3 or tech 8 are far better boots.
Great boot but the inner booty killed my ankle

I wore them around the house and they felt great but the first ride I wore them the inside of both ankles hurt real bad. Besides them hurting they were great no water got it and no break in needed. I'm gonna try the tech 7s without the booty and hopefully they don't give me pain like these did.

Have used these for 8 years. The $ up front is well worth it.
Best I've seen

I have been riding for 40 years. I now have 5 bikes and have had many boots. Got my first pair of tech 10s in 2007. Felt like sneakers from the first day. Boots are still in use and are fine after 4 years. Awesome comfort and protection. They do get dirty but stand up well even with little care. I am shopping for a new pair now - a pair for my Hondas and One for KTM.
Very good product

But them at least one size larger maybe 2. Beautiful but very stiff it will take about 20 hours to break these in. TIP! Use the Alpinestars Socks they are tapered in the correct places.

When I thought about buying these boots, I thought they were just shiny boots made to look good, and the price was through the roof. After I bought these and tried them out with my KTM on a trial ride, I’ve got say they’re the best boots ever made.
Best boots out there

Once you put these on you feel really safe, they are a little heavy, but don’t mind, these are the most beautiful boots in market, bet they are a little expensive.
Will never buy Alpinestars again

I have a pair of 1.5 year old Tech10s that had the upper buckle receiver bust. In order for me to fix it myself I will need to drill out the rivet and cut the internal liner, effectively ruining the boot (in my eyes), so I wanted Astars to do it while I’m down from surgery. After several false starts due to snotty customer service agents I finally found someone that told me I could send in my boot to be fixed for free; all I would pay is shipping. I received a call letting me know that the boot is defective due to a nearly broken Achilles strap and they cannot be liable when fixing my buckle. Apparently the Achilles strap is about to give out and is unfixable, so the whole boot is now defective...Alpinestars answer is to offer me a new set of boots for $409. I did love the fit and feel of these boots, but for $450+, I expected them to make it to the 2 year mark. Unacceptable in my eyes.
