Thor 50/50 Boots
I ride a Honda XR650L almost exactly 50% street and 50% off road. These are great boots for the price. The toe is a little thick but not as thick as some other brands out there (no need to adjust gear shift to accommodate the boot in my opinion).
They look almost like hiking boots under jeans (or an engineer boot) and you can walk in them moderately comfortably (considering it's an armored boot). I wouldn't take any long walks in them.
I dumped the bike on a trail and got my ankle caught in the fall and the boot provided good protection for a low cut boot -not totally since it's a low cut boot -but much better than not wearing any protection at all.
In deeper water the boots will take some water (obviously) no matter how tight you adjust the ankle bindings -but they dry up quick and as good as new.
I wasn't able to find anything quite like them. I wouldn't recommend them for extreme motocross -but for on-road/off-road with moderate sand, mud, and water -while still having a boot you can walk in that doesn't look and feel like a combat/storm trooper boot -these offer the perfect combination.

Very well made, good construction. Too small for its size even though the inside is meant to be very comfortable. Its fit is too tight. Could be made a little wider keeping in mind its intended use.

Great boots. Really nice for street riding as well as off road play riding. Very high quality for the money. Very comfortable, like wearing tennis shoes, but with ankle support. Buckles work well and look nice. Couldn't be happier with them!

Great Boot!
Bought this sight unseen as a dual sport boot and couldn't be happier. Very nice stiff boot, unlike what I had seen locally in a half boot. Easy to use, so far it has been holding up well. Really like them. Only slight issue is these ran small on me but probably a half size. They have gotten better with time but still a bit tighter than I would like (wear thinner socks). Overall great purchase.

Good easy solid boot
Almost an all day shoe. Easy to put on, fits exactly to size. The plastic shank is much easier to feel your controls and pedals with and makes it enjoyable to walk around in.

Thor 50/50 Boots
I happy with the boots overall . . . however a couple of concerns.
The left boot should have full wrap of the durable plastic over the toe area. What I'm referring to is the shifter hits right where the plastic and leather meet. I had a small bit of the plastic crack off out side of the stitching. The plastic should full wrap the toe over the shifter area. If I was to buy another pair of boots I'd be looking at that part of the boot.
Again my left boot . . . after securing the my straps the tongue area of the boot under the bottom strap seems to slip down a bit and then bunches up. This in not the internal boot sleeve but the eternal flap. This is a minor detail it is not really noticeable and comfort is not impacted. I would say both concerns are finish related.
I am complacent with the comfort and look of the boots. Very comfortable walking in them and comfortable on the bike. I've sprayed them with waterproof stuff and they seem to be fine with that no discoloration.

Great Trail Riding Boots
As far as fit, go to your smaller size if you are an in-between size as I am. The only negatives are some rub on the inside (big toe) side. A little tight at first but they seem to be wearing in. Also a little ankle soreness until broken in. As mentioned elsewhere the shifter area should have been beefed up some, as it wears quickly in that area. Once the boot has worn into the shifter it seems to be fine. Comfort is almost good enough to wear around all day (almost). Riding comfort and support is excellent, as is the buckle design and casual look (I bought the brown ones). Perfect alternative to bulky uncomfortable MX boots or unsupportive, sticker grabbing hi-tops for the trail rider. A+ to Thor

Thor Motocross-50/50 Boots
These are the most comfortable boots I've ever put on. I could not believe the comfort right out of the box. I've had my share of work boots, hunting boots, special boots my wife ordered from the shop at home networks, but these are the best.
It's true what you read in the reviews. I didn't want to take them off. I would recommend these boots to anyone.
I wish I had another pair of feet.

Great boots
Can't beat them for the price. Very comfortable and well made. Bought them for me and my dad for a cross country dual sport ride...we'll see how they do. Offers a touch more protection than an army boot with steel toe. Comfortable enough though to walk into a restaurant to get lunch during a ride. Another quality Thor product.

Absolutely the most comfortable MX type boot I've ever worn! With that being said I think you may give up some protection and durability as a compromise. I use them for riding my utility ATV for that they’re great! I have other boots for riding my sport ATV

After a few hundred miles wearing this boot, I would buy them again. The fit is great! I could wear them all day. I ordered my usual size and it is on target. I added three coats of water proof spray to them because of some of the other reviews and haven't had wet feet yet, but I have not worn them in a steady rain either, so far. I ride a dual sport on back roads, some paved and some not, if I can find them. This boot is almost perfect for me. If it had one more buckle higher, there would be no better boot for my kind of riding.

I Love These Boots
I have two pair of these boots. I bought the tan pair and have been using them to ride my Ninja. They work great as casual road boots and they are normal enough looking to wear in stores. I bought the black pair after I realized how much I like these boots, and I use them to ride my Raptor. I can get off my Quad, get right on the ninja and go, 50/50. Also the fit is perfect. I wear a size 10 and a size 10 fits perfectly. After they break-In, they still stay stiff where they should...Awesome Boots.

I use this boot when I ride my Crf 250r and my Crf 150f the only thing I do not like is when I’m riding my 150 the boots to big so it’s hard to shift up but I really like it.

I was looking around for a more casual riding boot and happened to come up on these boots while at a local motorcycle shop. I tried them on and I was immediately impressed on how light and comfortable they were. The only issue was the store didn't have the color I wanted (khaki), and they didn't have any size 9's. I went home later that day and ordered them from this Motorcycle Superstore with no sales tax and FREE shipping. Don't get them wet
Had the boots for a year and they are a great 50/50 boot. I even use them with my street bike. Just NEVER use them in the rain. They don't just get you feet wet; they get a puddle of water in them. This was less than 15 minutes of riding; I was riding some street and dirt road.

Great for riding KLR 650
I love these boots. I was wearing tennis shoes but since i bought a pair of black thor 50/50's i will never wear tennis shoes again when i ride my KLR 650 on the street or in the red dirt. These boots are solid and great quality.

Thor Motocross 50/50 Boots
I have only good things to say about these boots so far...feel great on my feet, look great, seem to stand up to the rough stuff just fine and IMHO are way more comfortable than the serious motocross boots. These feel more like a high top tennis shoe and as such, allow plenty of easy movement for working the shift lever and the rear brake.
I would recommend these very highly.

Great comfortable boots that's very versatile
I wear a boot size 9.5 wide and got these in a size 10 and they fit comfortably. Buckles are great quality and these boots can pretty much be used for anything. I use them when I ride my street bike and dual sport. I wear them when I go to school on my motorcycle and my mountain bike. You can even drive with them but they are not so comfortable to drive with if you have a manual transmission car.

Thor Motocross - 50-50 Boots
So far so good. I like the fact I can just wear these as boots. I also like that they are quick on and off. My only complaint is that they are a little stiff for shifting, but so is a motocross boot. I may just loosen the top but I am sure they will loosen up when broken in.

Double Duty
I really liked the 50-50. I ride street and never liked how restrictive and uncomfortable the racing boots are. I almost forget I'm wearing this boot when I get home. The ankle has some funny pressure points till break in. The boot gives good protection and great comfort. Much better than tennis shoes, but far more comfortable than a racing shoe. Great for the commuter/tourer. I use it when I tune my dirt bikes also, and gives adequate support and protection.

Very Stiff, runs small, not comfortable and over priced
This boot seems to run small, the buckles are hard to put on and it is so stiff at the ankle that I could not shift. It is also extremely expensive. I did not like it and would not recommend it to anybody who wants comfort as part of the ride.

I bought these boots wanting a good cross-over boot from my Ninja ZX6R and my KX450F, works good for my super bike with the only downfall being that up shifting is stiff, but it did not survive even 5 laps on the Supercross track. Ripping the inside of the leather on the right boot with just normal riding, no wreck. Do not recommend for either extreme. Buy two sets of boots. Would be good boot for cruising and is as comfortable as a work boot.

I wore these boots on my 2 week San Diego to Cabo to San Diego KLR 650 trip over the holidays. The boots worked well. They gave me all the support I needed and are a great general all around boot. Light weight, snug fit. I didn't need to bring a spare walk around pair of shoes either. These also work for that. If you are counting ounces on your ultra lightweight continent adventure, these are the boots. The “all rubber front toe cover” tore at the stitch seam a little, not the stitching but the rubber, so I'm not sure how long the rubber will last but, while they are in one piece, they work for what I'm doing; which is road riding to the next City and, fire trails for fun after I get there on the KLR. Perfect 50/50 boot.

Thor Motocross - 50-50 Boots
Due to medical problems, I am not able to wear a full MX boot anymore, so I thought I would try these 50/50 boots. They are great. I use them both in the dirt and on long highway trips on my DR650. They seem to be pretty rugged as well. Prior to ordering them, though, I went to a local motorcycle shop and tried them on. They wanted almost $140 for them, which was a lot more than I got them through the Superstore.

Believe Or Not
Sometimes you read reviews and wonder if they are fictitious and probably written by staff of the company... So why believe this one? Because this review is for real... I own a Honda Goldwing and a Harley V-rod. I bought the boots for the touring bike and I have never been more pleased. I thought the fit was going to be a problem (no half sizes) but that was not the case. I wear an 8.5 or 9.0 I went with the 8.0 and it fit like a glove. Just got them today 10/10 and went for a ride. Fit was perfect and I felt secure in them. I have Harley boots but these boots are phenomenal. Anyway Customer Service is Great and the Live Chat is Live.

Really nice alternative to street shoes
I was getting tired of wearing my full-on touring boots for my commute, and basketball shoes are not my style. Alpinestars had some interesting models a couple of years ago but they are no longer available, so I am very pleased to have found these Thor 50/50 boots. More protective and supportive than basketball shoes, comfortable for walking, and they look good. The buckles are easy to use, and they make for quick on/off. Nice boots!

I have to be honest about the 50/50. They are great for what they are but remember that it is 50/50 not 100 for this and 100 for that. They fit well and were not expensive, you get what you pay for and a little more. No sore spots or pressure points and it looks like your everyday footwear, plus a small choice of colors. If you're on a budget and want something decent then the 50/50 may work for you but if you're a no compromise kinda person then it may not do justice but don't knock it till you

Excellent idea
A lay back dirt boot that can be worn on the street. Why didn't it come out earlier on the market? A little stiff, but hey it can do it all. Yes easy on & off, but the plastics pieces looks flimsy, & no part can be user replaced like SIDI boots. Very easy to clean. Recommended for dual sport riders not hard core MX.

Good Boots
These are my first pair of dedicated motorcycle boots and so far so good. I love the latch closure system, super easy on and off. I also love the rigidity of the soles, perfect for my 72' Yammie that kicks back like a mule, saved my foot/ankle a couple of times. The soles could be a little more rigid, after a couple of months the foot brake pedal has chewed up the right sole a little but if they made the soles more rigid they wouldn't be as comfortable as they are. Great product.

Great boots so far. I've used them for both my ATV and my Ulysses. I've worn them on cool and warm days and they've handled both comfortably. Also, they're comfortable enough to wear all day at work.

Top notch. When riding dual sports there can be a big swing in the needs of your equipment. Whether it be walking subtly into work or taking a tree stub off the big toe as you bang down a trail. This boot meets both needs and still does a great job of providing a safe and stable off-road boot with just a little compromise in coverage. Great product.

I’m very happy with the boots so far. I use them for general sport/touring and they work well. They are plenty comfortable and reasonably warm for cool weather riding (have not tested them in hot weather). I really like how fast you can put them on or take them off - that was mainly why I bought them. I have not owned them long enough to comment on durability.

I ordered the tan set in 12s; they're extremely comfortable and fit like a pair of high tops; very easy to walk in, and even look like a pair of construction boots under your pants.
I wear mine predominantly for commuting in Taipei city (mad traffic and splitting lanes) so some degree of ankle protection is important; the shift pad area gets dirty REAL quick, and a side effect of the lightness of the boot doesn't make it feel all that secure (especially as its got virtually NO shin protectio
