Installation was easy. The smoke color looks good, but I'd go darker next time as I use goggles 90% of the time with this helmet anyway.

The smoked shield is awesome. No more sunglasses in the glaring Utah sun, obscures my face from motorists, and it's not too shabby for night riding either. Get one!
Better than expected!

I have read horror stories about changing the lenses on these helmets. Most people said only if it included the hardware how easy it would be not to have to disassemble the harware off the old visor onto the new one. My visor came with 2 full sets of extra harware. Install took a few minutes tops and now I can switch back and forth in about a minute. The light smoke is perfect for all conditions. Thanks Motorcycle Superstore!
Looks great, not for night riding

Easy to swap, the light smoke is just the right amount of tint for the PNW weather. I might pick up the darker version for summer sunshine, but for the rest of the year, the lighter one is perfect.

It takes a couple steps... but, really once you do it once, it’s less than a 5 min process to swap lens. Yeah others are easier, and if you have to change them often then it’s a pita... but if only changing them once in a while...

It's cool, but possibly a bit on the dark side. It would be nice if it was more reflective while being a little lighter tint. Changing the shields is a PITA and I discovered that when my helmet was initially assembled the factory kind of chewed up the slot of the plastic screws. You'll need to swap over little plastic pieces that feel like they could easily be broken in the process. Still waiting on the gold-mirror replacements.
Light smoke has very little tint; practically clear

The photo on this website is very misleading. I thought the light smoke would actually have some tint that might block sunlight, but I was wrong. I would consider the light smoke shield to be the same as the clear shield. It offers absolutely no protection against the sun. If you want to wear a helmet without sunglasses, you do not want light smoke. I really don't know what the purpose of the light smoke shield would be, since the tint is barely discernable as compared to the clear shield.

These are excellent face shields, especially for the price. I ordered the light smoke and found that it's not dark enough unless you are going to wear sunglasses too. The reflective shield is great although a bit too dark for night time.
