Knee/Shin guards
I have a dual sport and ride some road but I have had them on a few times when on dirt but not needed to use them for intended purpose. They fit fine, even under jeans and for the price they are great.

Peace of mind for $12
Purchased a set of these after a run in with a deer. I will admit, the first time wearing them is a bit awkward, but after a mile or so, you hardly notice that you are wearing the guards. They tuck into the top of my Alpinestars SMX-3 boot and stay in place very nicely. I feel confident that they won't shift much on impact and provide adequate protection. Some stitching has started to come loose in the knee cup within one week of use, but a needle and some thread should fix it right up easily. For $12, they give a great amount of protection and peace of mind. Would definitely recommend.

Great, cost-effective protection.
These are great to wear under regular jeans or reinforced riding jeans for some extra protection to your knees. I don’t know.. I have friends with damaged knees, and it is NEVER pretty, so I'll wear these for the extra peace of mind.
What I like best is that the straps are positioned so that these do not slide down as you wear them. The top strap wraps around at the top of your calf.

I bought these for more casual riding when I didn't want to wear my riding boots, and hiking boots would offer adequate foot protection. I used to put up with rocks and sticks hitting my shins and knees. I think they would offer good protection in a fall too, but I haven't tested them in a fall. They are comfortable, well made, and at a great price.

Quality knee guards
What I like is the position and quality of the straps. The lower one is stretchy but not so stretchy as to allow the knee guard to ride up. This keeps the upper strap from riding up above your socks and cutting into the tender skin behind your knees.

Great shin and knee protection

I use these on both my bikes, Kawasaki KLR650 and Yamaha R1. It does not scratch either bike. It protects me from rocks flying by. There are a lot of construction trucks with loose gravel speeding down the highway. And it's especially cost effective.

Great Product !
I have a 34" in seam - these fit fine through the shin all the way past my knee cap. They fit nicely under my SHIFT riding pants and tuck into the top of my SHIFT boots. And no, SHIFT did not pay me to say this!

Better than expected.
I first tried the Icon armor but after a 10 mile ride the armor was no longer protecting my knee. It had slipped down about 6 inches.
When I tried these I did the same ride and they stayed right where I had placed them. Both times I was wearing the armor under my jeans.
For the price and quality these are great and the fit is good.

One size does not fit all
I bought these thinking that regular meant small or medium. But it seems that they only stock this in a large! The size of these knee-shin guards are in fact a size Large. These are way to big for women. They are perfect for guys that are about 5'10” and greater who have big legs. They do seem like a good pair for the price I paid, too bad it was too big.
