Allan V. Littleton,  CO Acerbis Koerta- First Impressions Like many others, I found the adjustable collar plates coming loose after just 1 ride. Blue Loctite quickly solved that problem! Also felt the Zipper was fragile and zips opposite of the normal “Men's” side. (When looking down, pull tab is on the left rather than the right.) Size does run small. At 6'0” 180lbs, L-XL is a pretty snug but good fit. Mesh sleeves do seem weak and susceptible to tearing. Yellow trim would look much better in black or grey. Ok, now for the good! Only pressure suite with what feels like better than average collar bone protection. Pads seem to be of high quality and don't slide or “arm pump” when adjusted correctly. Of course it's going to be hotter on a hot day, so just stay moving! Price versus quality of protection is great. Not restrictive at all. Fully intend to wear for skiing and downhill mountain biking as well. The kids can't decide whether I look more like a transformer or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. It ain't bullet proof but in a bar room brawl, I could quite possibly be the last 1 standing! Shipping was fast. Bottom line-I'd give it a 4 out 5 rib fractures rating and 2 thumbs up!

Ian Cox Rochester,  NY Very Happy I bought this for protection for my 50 year old body when woods riding. I am 6'3" and 210 pounds so I was a bit worried about fit. I went with the XXL. It fits well, could have probably gone with the XL but it might have put a bit of a strain on the arms, they are narrow (I have spaghetti arms). The collarbone straps sit too high and hold the chest protector away from my chest so I will shorten them. Right now I have been using it without them. Hot when stationary but once you are riding it is a non-issue. I always use a long sleeve under armor shirt, it makes it a lot easier to get it on and off. I wear a jersey over the top. Had one low speed fall so far and didn't feel a thing. I love it.

Felix El Paso,  TX Great invest It is really comfortable and you do not have problems to control your bike, only thing is that you should order extra size up> I returned once due size, was really smal in comparison to standard sizes.

Sam Beaverdam,  VA Koerta I had to give the Koerta a low score for fit. The XL was way smaller than the Fox I normally wear. I had to return for a 2XL then had issues with the fit while wearing my Leatt so I had to return that one also. The Koerta looked very well made, but I never had a chance to use it. Motorcycle Superstore is excellent in accepting items that do not fit. Thank you.

Jeff Clancy Temple,  GA Not For Short Thick People This looks like it is bulletproof but I just could not wear it. My arms are too short and the shoulder pads rode up into the shoulder supports. It really restricted my movements. If the shoulder pads were not hard plastic I would have kept this because it looks like it would deflect a train wreck. Oh well back to the drawing board.

nc Cary,  NC Liked it, but didn't fit quite right This is a nice jacket that makes you feel well-protected. It didn't fit me quite as well as I would have liked. The hip belt kept riding up.

Gossimerg Buffalo,  NY worth every penny 4 stars for Fit, the arms are too tight. I am average build and if I hit the weights a little more I will have trouble getting my arms in. I lost one of the collar pad screws in the first wearing. Extras were included, I added thread-lock and haven't lost another since.

JCD1111 Monument,  CO Great Product, runs small. As an 70-80% off-pavement dual-sport rider, I bought this for extra safety when riding on rocky mountain trails. This was WAYYYY overkill for anyone not riding motocross. It's well made and offers outstanding protection. I wanted something that would fit under a jacket or jersey and this fits the bill for that. My only issue was that it ran small because of the tight fit. if you are lean and fit, this will probably be accurately sized, if you have a little flab like I do, you'll want a size up.
