Matthew Kentwood,  MI don't feel that great I agree on the tightness getting them up around the waist. And I'm skinny. Also, the tailbone pad seems to extend too low. I feel it under me on the seat. I think this pad is not removable. Could do without the crotch padding, if you wear underwear it pretty much only makes you warmer. Which was not good today. I'd rather add warmth another way if needed.

John Thompson Ft Collins,  CO EVS - PP05 Ultimate Shorts Not worth the money...The correctly sized shorts 'moved' back & forth on recent 277 mile dual-sport ride and did so from mile 1. They moved so much, they rubbed the skin raw. The protective padding is minimal & almost anything else out there (for padding) should be substituted. The 'bum' padding is also low quality & the results were also below par. I am sticking to quality cycling shorts & will affix some velcro-held protective padding on the hips & thighs.

Nick Fort Atkinson,  WI hope you like 'em tight! First and foremost, these are wonderful shorts for all kinds of things. I wore them for an entire work day just to see how comfortable they were, and they were great. The pads are removable, which is nice. The only con I can think of is that they fit extremely tight when trying to pull them up over my waist. Once on, they fit perfectly, it's just getting them there that's a chore. It could just be my build.

Scott Rutland,  LA padded shorts These shorts are very comfortable. They're like bicycle shorts; I didn't even notice the pads. I don't know how they will stand up to the abuse of a crash (or how I will), but they appear solidly made and seem to provide decent coverage where it matters (tailbone, hipbone).
