They are pretty affordable, but were much thinner then I expected, not a whole lot to them, I actually just put then in with the cheapo pads already in my jacket and they still fit, though I’m sure they do provide a little more protection, for the price it’s worth it

Good protection
I purchased these chest protectors a while back to put in my Alpinestars Sniper jacket, since it already has pockets for chest protection. What I found to really like about these, is that they contour to your chest pretty well. They have perforations to help air flow in, so you do not get too hot. The first time I wore them in my jacket, we were in the middle of 90+ degree weather and they did not really make me too much hotter with them in. I purchased these since I felt the need to add some chest protection. If you think about it, we seldom protect our chests, which are a vital part of body since our ribs, lungs and heart are there. The protection in these seems decent and they are not too noticeable when you wear them (takes a little time to adjust). I would recommend these to every one
