Tremendous Performer
I purchased an 05 KLR 650 as a commuter/recreation bike. I am 47 and have been riding since the age of 8, both on and off road. My interest is dual sport riding, style conservative/aggressive. My commute takes me between five and six hundred miles a week. Mostly on country roads and secondary highways, rain or shine. Lots of 50+mph cruising. The factory Dunlops were wore out at 7500mi. They were also evil handling. The Pirelli MT90 Scorpion S/T's are the best tires I've tried for the purpose. I have had two seasons on this set of tires for better than 19k. Both could go another 2 or 3k. As a note, these tires seem pressure sensitive and prefer higher pressures in order to wear properly. I would definitely buy them again and recommend them highly.

Great tire!
I've got about 3500 miles on the rear and still looks new. The stock tire would have been bald by now. This tire works great on the road and off (90% street,10%logging and forest service roads).Way better than the Trail Wings. I highly recommend this tire.

Pirelli-MT 90 Tire
Very good tire, Great tread design for my Dual sport,
as my use is 70% hwy,30% off road. Tire mounted and
balanced really well. Took only one small weight to
balance this one out. Rides so much smoother than my
last set of tires of another brand. Will buy again.

So far,so good...
I only have 500 or so miles on the tire. So far it is way better than stock (Trail Wing). No more buzz! I'm waiting for my front to wear out so I can match the set. I can't say how well it will do off-road, but I didn't get the S/T expecting knobby performance. Works great on the street!

Pirelli Scorpion - MT 90 - S/T Rear
Great handling tire for street/road. Durable for light off-roading, on hard or gravel surfaces. A perfect tire for my KLR650E. I was easily able to push the tire to extreme lean angles (peg scratching) and maintain a firm line. Have 3000 miles on this one. Had 7000 miles on previous one with plenty of wear left when I sold the bike.

Pirelli MT90 Dual Sport (Rear - Street)
Must admit I cannot accurately rate "Durability" & "Cost Benefit" since I've mounted this new tire but not got it on the road yet. Can say that I read a lot of reviews and found the best price/delivery here at MS, same as with a set of MEZ6's I bought for the FJR earlier. I do have several miles on the front Scorpion and am very pleased with it. The new Scorpion rear is now on the KLR650 and its fit/finish are very good. This Pirelli is going to be a great improvement and I've found MS to be a great tire store.

Review of Pirelli - MT 90 Scorpion S/T Front and Rear Tires
I am fully satisfied with the Scorpion S/T's performance on my KLR 650.I mostly use it for commuting to and from work and also for exploring back roads both paved and gravel during weekends and extended vacations. I recently went on a 1200 mile round trip to the Big Bend area in Texas. This included many miles of unpaved and unmaintained roads along with paved back roads and highways, wet and dry. They performed great. Sometimes they need airing down on off-road conditions, especially when wet and perform as smooth, comfortable, and quiet as any highway tire on the pavement.

P-Scorpion
Have enjoyed these tires in the past, and got good service from them. But now they are made only in a tube version, not tubeless. Why? The ease of a tubeless works well on a big GS bike. Wasn't able to use the tire.

Best tires I've had yet
I've put 6k miles on these tires now, and it appears I'll get another 4k out of the rear, and probably double that out of the front. Rain doesn't bother them, they perform flawlessly on gravel roads, deep soft stuff will make them squirm, but that's to be expected.

MT90 scorpion tire
Only have one on the rear of my DR650 now, but can't wait to add a front as well. Real smooth on road and sticks like glue in the corners. Skittish off-road, but that's to be expected in a 95/5 tire. Works OK on dirt and gravel roads, which is about as off-road as this bike sees. And after about 800 miles, seems to be wearing well, should last a long time.

Scorpion S/T
This tire is a remarkable improvement over the stock TrailWing on a Suzuki DR650. The Scorpions really keep a grip in the turns and are great tires if you ride your dual sport mostly on the street. Nice and smooth going over the draw-bridge now too; that used to be an unpleasant experience with the knobs catching in the grating.

Great tires!
I love these tires...don't hesitate to order them...my KLR handles so much better and rides smooth...I am so glad I wore the stock ones out...what a difference.

scorpions are great
I'm on my second set of scorpions and they are excellent tires, if you like aggressive street riding. My first set lasted 11,500 miles riding at a moderate to aggressive style. I have a triumph tiger, so I do go off road every so often and they perform well here also. I recommend them to an aggressive rider or someone that wants a tire that turns quickly. If you don't like that "falling-in" effect that a tire gives you, buy an anakee or tourance.

Pirelli Scorpion ST
Only 1,000 miles so far, but seems to be a great road tire. Does fine on dry pack and OK on gravel if your pressure is right. Obviously not a mud tire.
I like it better than the scorpion AT. This one is almost as good on dirt and WAY better on highway and mileage.

Review
I've tried every dual sport tire made and the Pirelli MT90 Scorpion ST is the best. Great traction in both wet and dry conditions. They will last a long tim e even when ridden hard. Great feel and ride comfort.

Pirelli Scorpion S/T Tires
This tire is great if you are going to most all of your riding on street or dry dirt (BE VERY CAREFUL ON MUD!). It has lasted nearly 15,000 miles of hard use (that's opposed to the 5,000 I got out of the factory tire). I'm sure it would go farther under a little less demanding circumstances. I ride pretty hard with lots of quick takeoffs and stops. I can lay my KLR650 over to the peg without tire slippage on corners. Ordering my second rear tire now.
