Dane Bills Hayward,  CA Short Term Review The Anakee spoons on easily, usually the sign of better rubber (I do my own tire changes on my XR650L) and yet appears to have quite string sidewalls compared to some of the cheaper tires I've run up front. The tire turns in *very* fast, if you are used to a more dual sport tire, which is what I came from. I mounted this tire specifically for the "rainy" season here in the bay area. I have a second rim I used to run my D606 for my dual sport trips. As such, this tire is strictly used for commuting. Turns in a little quick, definitely likes throttle input during the corner. The balance seems excellent out of the box, it goes down the road smooth, and make only a little road noise ( although I was shocked to see it made almost as much as the much more knobby tire I had previously). The wet weather performance is excellent. It does like to grab pavement irregularities and follow grooves and such much more easily than say, my old C858 did.

ken de con,  NH New favorite tire These tires are great. I just got back from a three day trip to Montreal and the tires are super smooth and grippy even on the wet roads. On the dirt they hook up great on everything but wet grass, clay type mud and loose sand. Still an all around great tire, the price was right and the name you can trust.

Matt Aspen,  CO So far so good. I put a set of these on my 09 KLR650 about a week ago. So far I have been very pleased with them. Living in the Aspen CO area, I go from paved to dirt constantly and need a tire that handles well on everything. I did about 300 miles the other day over a high mountain gravel/dirt pass and other than the bike being a little squirly at high speeds which I expected, they handled just fine. Much smoother on the paved roads that my stock Dunlops. FYI: If you have an 08-09 KLR650, to go wider than 130mm on the rear you may have to take off the chain guard. I got the 140-80-17 and it fits great. No rubbing once the guard was removed.

Merle O'Broham Chicago,  IL perfect rain or 90/10 front Quick turn-in, smooth and great grip rain or sun. The rears tend to wear quickly. I matched this front with a Tourance rear.

Eddie Marak McKinney,  TX Great Tires for my purpose I have run these tires since I have owned my bike - F659GS - very good in rain, and does well for me off-road. Most of my time is on road, off-road has been Forest Access in Colorado, gravel roads in Texas, and back roads of Big Bend National Park. Tires have worked great in all, but perform better when aired down a bit. Have held unbelievably well in rain, even on twisty mountain roads in CO. I really like these tires for my purposes.

Russell Julian,  CA Great Tire I bought this tire to match the Anakee rear I put on my KLR 650. I get 15,000 miles on the radial rear (2 to 3 times that of other tires), however I get about the same mileage from this tire as with other dual sport tires (around 10,000), but it maintains better traction on pavement throughout its life. It washes out in soft dirt and sand, but I use it for paved road commuting. I have no idea how it performs in rain, since I don't ride in the rain. I only wish they would make it in a radial, to get more tire life.

Steve Mt. Carmel,  IL Why switch? With 25K on my '06 Tiger, I'm just getting around to thinking about a front tire. What little tread is left is cupped pretty well, but that hasn't affected ride quality. The rear's been on it for about 12K, and is just now beginning to show significant center-wear. Handling is superb. Although I have no personal experience with any other brand of AdvTour tire, I can't come up with a good reason to switch.

T Russell lawrenceville,  GA great tire Big improvement over original equip for my v-strom, great on road handling, wet or dry. I do very little off road. This is the second set for me. I do experience a little cupping but it doesn't seem to affect handling.

Tim Russell Lawrenceville,  CA Anakee After riding 10,000 miles on originally equipped, (trail wings), the Michelin tire was a welcome replacement. So far I have experienced all around increased performance. I would definitely buy this tire again, a great value and price from superstore.

Carlos Atencio Miami,  MD Anakee Great tires. I bought to pairs, one for a BMW R1150 GS and another pair for a BMW R1200 GS. Recently we made a long trip with the bikes and the tires performed perfectly.

Michael Berger ellensburg,  Prince Edw anakee quality I have to say, I understand why Triumph went to the Anakee for OEM tires, they are real nice rubber. The tread design makes you feel right at home on tarmac or gravel, and if you run into a heavy rain storm, don't worry, be happy because the deep tread sends water away and keeps you feeling safe and secure. Nice tire, buy it.
