Clayton Maple Grove,  MN Michelin Anakee's for Suzuki DR 650 I really like these tires, they hold the road excellent. Only have 1,500 miles on them so far but work excellent off-road as well. It’s really too soon to give a full evaluation of this product, but so far so good.

Larry G Bellville,  OH Good all around tire. Short life, about 5000 miles. But sticks to the wet and cold Ohio roads well.

Doug Sifford Seattle,  WA Anakee Tires Bought a set of these for my Suzuki VStrom 650 for a ride to Alaska. Trip was 3 weeks long and over 7500 miles. Roads taken included highway, secondary and gravel - over a thousand miles of gravel and mud roads. All weather conditions except snow and ice. The tires did great. Wonderful traction on road and on gravel - wet and dry. Very impressed. I will be buying another set. The only downside was the rear tire was pretty well squared off by the end of the trip. The front is holding up pretty well and can last another 3-4000 as far as I can tell. So my grades on durability and cost benefit are driven by wear on the rear tire. But the traction and flexibility in wet and dry conditions means I'll be buying another rear tire for the winter season here in Seattle. Hope this helps.

John Schwarz Whitehorse,  YT No Wear Anakees Don't hold up to Canadian Highways... Not even on a fairly lightweight F560. What's with the Spanish Michelins? A Wanabee Metzler that falls short...

H Michael Sanford ,  NC Michelin Anakee The Anakee rates well for me. It seems like a fairly soft compound tire, but I got 8,000 miles on the last rear on my DL-1000. The mount& balance was fairly easy with manual tire tools slipping on the rim with minimal effort & using 6 1/4 ounce self adhesive weights. They provide a nice stable ride even at higher speeds, cornering is decent although I seldom drag pegs on the corners.

Steve Houston,  TX Great tire These came on the Triumph Tiger I bought used, so it's my first experience with them and I'm impressed with the on road performance. Excellent traction. Haven't used offroad enough to say.

Louis Dover,  DE Michelin Anakee rear tire The first Anakee worked well. I got around 12000 miles out of it on my Triumph Tiger. It was smooth on road and gave me few problems on dirt roads.

Michael Mathews Minneapolis,  MN Anakees on Triumph Tiger I put on a new set of Anakees prior to a trip to Alaska in June 2007. The tyres performed fantastic on wet asphalt and over 900 miles of dirt roads. The rear did wear out at about 6500 miles and had to be replaced mid trip. The Torrance does give you more mileage but doesn't work as well on unpaved roads and it costs more.

Freddy Lutz Catasauqua,  CA Anakee Replaced the Avon Distanzia's that came on my F650 with the Anakees and noticed an immediate improvement in handling and grip. They perform especially well in wet weather. If you're looking for a tight gripping dual sport tire, this is for you.

Scott M. Fredericksburg,  NJ Anakee rear tire My GS came with these tires originally. They have performed exceptionally well. In wet weather, I have complete confidence in these tires. I have also been on "GS" rides with these tires, and they have performed admirably in sand, mud, rocks and dirt. On the road on dry pavement you can push these tires as hard as you are able.

Mike Wood Anchorage,  FL Michelin Anakee Rear Left over tire slag from poor manufacturing process caused friction puncture of fitted tube in the middle of a 7000 mile trip on my F650GS. Advised Michelin USA and they didn't not seem to care. I will go back to Metzler Tourance or Pirelli Scorpion S/T.

Ronald Newton Pride (Baton Rouge),  GA Michelin Anakee Suzuki DL1000 rear tire, this one replaced an Avon and a Metzeler Tourance before that. The Anakee only has a few hundred miles on it, but performs as well as the Tourance, which was outstanding. It seems to be wearing well--hopefully more than 10-12K miles. I will certainly replace the Tourance front tire with an Anakee when it finally wears out.

Jason Groton,  CT Anakee tire These tires are pretty good. I got 15K out of my tourances on my GS. The wet and dry traction is great. Dirt roads are no problem. We will see how long they last, that will be the test.

Tom C Dallas ,  Prince Edw 2 wheeled commuter Got 17k miles on rear Anakee before it was replaced, mounted on a KLR 650, superb all-weather commuting tire. Ok on dirt roads, handles heavy touring loads well.
