David Norman,  OK Excellent Tire Put this tire on my DR650 and holds up great. Doesn't howl on the road near as much as the D606, not quite as aggressive, but overall a great tire. Handles great in mud and sand.

CJ Kinderhook,  NY Metzeler Karoo By far, THE BEST dual sport knobbie tire available for fast paced large displacement dual sport motorcycles like my DR650. The wear ability (durability) and traction is excellent and I've used quite a few different brands to compare. Many of my riding buddies have switched to the Karoo as well. Motorcycle Superstore's prices are the best and delivery time was excellent!

CJ Valatie,  NY Karoo tires Excellent for the large displacement dual sports. I've had 2 sets of these on my suzuki DR650 and after using Kenda K270s and the 606 tires, I find these work/wear the best. They hook up great off-road, yet work very well at high speeds on the pavement. Metzeler has a winner!

Tom The Woodlands,  TX Karoo Rear - Great Tire I had this tire on my street legal XR650R and it went 3k miles or hard core riding. It wears better than the MT21 and than the Dunlap 606.

lance rochester,  MN karoo 2 I replaced the factory tire, a Michelin Anakee, with this Karoo 2. It looks good on my Triumph Tiger but for road riding, which is a majority of the riding I do, it does not last long. I was hoping for about 4500 miles, but with only 1900 miles on it and already showing about 70% wear, I am a little disappointed. It does perform well off road and on gravel, but I doubt I'll purchase this tire again.

Dan Nicholas San Diego,  CA Personal USe I have a Husquvarna TE 610 and my bike completely destoyed both front and rear Karoo's after 1000 miles. I wouldn't recommend these tires for all practical applications. There are better tires out there for less money and better performance.

Don Sharaf Victor,  HI Tire wear and performance 1100 miles on the rear tire so far on BMW GS 1150 Adventure. Knobs are wearing quickly on the road (no quicker than a Conti TKC 80). Tire is a champ on loose gravel and rock. Great for logging and mining roads in Montana and Idaho. Great performance on paved roads as well (holds corners as well as the TKC 80 and not far from the Metzeler Tourance). I expect I'll get 4000 miles from this tire - think I need to get another set of rims for these tires in the future - so I don't waste them on t
