Bob R Riverside,  CA Great mileage! These tires came equipped on my new G650X. I rode the bike from N.H. to California last summer, putting 6,000 miles on them. I changed them out at 6,700mi. And they still had some use left in them. I bought a new set of them because I was so impressed with their durability and overall capability.

Marco Salas crescent city,  CA Great front tire... I was a bit skeptical about the Metzler Sahara's. After about 500 miles on the set they perform well for my riding style. I ride mainly fire/skid roads and asphalt. Tires hook-up well on the loose gravel. On the asphalt, feels like I am riding on rails. I did ride a couple of miles on a grassy trail. Traction sucked on the grass. If you ride mainly asphalt and fire roads then get-em.

Phillip M Huntsville,  AL AWESOME! These tires GRAB! I got them mounted on Thursday after work and rode for 5 hours. 177 miles later, on every terrain I could find (hasn’t rained in weeks, so no mud yet), I am extremely happy the these tires. I leaned my KLR waaaay over into a few sharp curves and these tires grabbed the pavement better than some street tires I've tried. I gave them a 5 on durability because I've never been let down by a Metz yet..

Steven Ocean City,  MD Metzeler - Enduro 3 Sahara Front Tire Haven't logged too many miles on the new front Metzeler as of yet, but did notice an immediate positive difference in both road and dirt handling. Mine's mounted on an 06 Suzuki DRZ400S, and although these tires aren't going to win any Motocross races, they do seem to work well in the "Dual Sport Bike" aspect, which they are designed for. Felt secure on wet pavement, and even cut through some deep sand rather well to my surprise. Have the matching Metzeler in the rear as well (140/80-18) and would recommend anyone who's riding 50/50% dirt and street, to go ahead and mount up a pair. Tread life on rear seems a little premature with only a few hundred miles on it, but that calculation is probably best made after the first 1000 miles. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

Michael Boise,  ID Metzler Sahara enduro 3 So far so good, good traction off road and great on road. My 640 Enduro handles so much better. Durability will remain to be seen as I only have 100 miles on them so far. Wet traction seems to be good also. For more off road oriented riders I would suggest the more aggressive Karoo for the front tire. Lots I have talked to use this combo for the bigger DS bikes like the 990 adventure. With mostly on road for me the Sahara on the front is great compared to the Kendas I was running before. Quick turn in and low vibes, the bike handles like my friends supermoto. Spendy but worth the price.

William Caldwell New Millport,  PA Metzeler - Great tire! Just put 50 miles on my new Metzeler tires and they're exceptionally smooth on the highway! I'm using them on my 1989 Yamaha Dual Sport (XT350).

Keith Herbert Cedar Bluff,  VA High quality/high price Stock tires on my 07 KTM640Adventure. Rear had to be replaced @ 4800 mi. The replacement shows very little wear @ 7800 mi. Will need to replace original front by 8000 mi. Smooth highway ride w/great traction and off highway (mostly gravel, some dirt/mud) handling is acceptable. Pricey.

Chris Altoona,  PA Enduro 3 Really nice tire, rides like a street tire. Good confidence in wet weather. Goes good off-road, but I ride more on the street. Recommend to anyone ISO this type of tire.

Darryl Griffin Globe ,  AZ Enduro 3 Sahara Have a pair on my 08 Husqavarna 610 TE, ride to work and back daily and weekend off road, rear seems to be holding up pretty well traction on hard pack is sketchy though. Front tire has some small bubble areas and seems soft, ended up with a 2BB size chunk out of my tire and blew my tube while riding out in the hills.

TB Shreveport,  TN Sahara tire on KLR650 This is the second set of tires on my KLR 650. A vast improvement over the stock tires. Much better sand and mud performance. There is a little howl when decelerating, but not too bad. Have only ridden about 500 miles on these tires, so far so good.
