Andrew Hendersonville,  NC remember its a dual sport tire This is a good overall tire, put about 300 miles on it today and was quite impressed. Grip is good goes pretty well in gravel and dirt, again it doesn't excel is anything but for the price is a good tire

Bob Mechanicville,  NY k270 f800gs, skates a bit when new on pavement, but settles in nicely. picks up a howl at speed on pavement. almost 2k on it now and is holding up ok. looks good for about 4 to 5k. Have done about 700mi dirt road/mud and sand with no complaints.

alex b san ramon,  CA Lasted me 10000 miles! Mostly highway miles on Suzuki DR650. Great tire. You can read a bit more about my experience in the rear tire section. I've no issues with it at all.

Marty L Paulson Lewistown,  MT Kenda K270 Front Tire I put this tire on the front of my 56 AJS 500. It looks fine and handles great, although I tend not to push things too hard on this old of a bike. Fast service. Thanks

Michael coleman,  MI Kenda-K270 Good dual sport tire for most terrain it's all a compromise with dual sport tires. Mounted easy, usually get about 3500 miles out of them mostly on dirt roads two tracks. Cheaper than most dual sport tires.

John Tucson,  AZ If you ride dirt, do not buy this tire I bought this tire because I have a k270 rear, which works great. What a mistake. In the desert, this tire is death. You can not brake with this tire in the dirt. I've come close to crashing quite a few times as a result of this tire. Once when trying to stop before a dirt road going around 50mph(with enough space, so I thought), nearly washed the bike out, ended up in the middle of the road when I finally stopped WITH the rear tire locked up. Nice. Downhill and loose terrain, forget it. The forks will dive a little, then the tire will break lose, and the bike will pitch out. Over 65 mph on dirt roads with loose material on top, it is downright scary. The front end drifts from side to side, and you can actually turn the handlebars without the bike going in any direction. This is not a confidence inspiring tire in the dirt. Save yourself the headache and don't buy it. There are better tires for the street use only (the only place this tire is useful), so buy one of those, or get a real knobbie front tire if you ride dirt.

charlie Port Austin,  MI Wrong tire for me I bought front and back K270s to replace off-road only knobbies on a KLX 300r enduro bike because, the side knobs on the front tire were worn away from turning practice on pavement. The K270 has grossly inadequate traction for my turning maneuvers on pavement. They are coming off as soon as I can figure out what to put in their place. I like the significantly lower rolling resistance of the dual sport tire. I hoped for longer wear, but the traction problem is too severe to ignore.

Douglas A. Sills Port Huron,  MI Kenda - K270 Dual Purpose Front Tire I put about 2600 miles of riding in Alaska. The stock tires I had on the bike were near bald after the ride (REAR). About 3800 miles total on the bike and the tires. One of the other riders had the Kenda tires and they showed very little wear. Kendas are what I replaced the O.E.M. tires with. I only noticed that the Kenda's seam to hold the road better when cornering. Other than that no other difference. Also, I went with a larger tire front and back.

kevin cadarette palmer lake ,  CO good all around tire We have two suzuki dr65s0 that came with trailwing tires front and back. After my wife and I went on our first outing we both hated the stock tires. They were good on the blacktop but very scary on the rocks and dirt. We replaced my tires with dot knobies but they were terrible on the blacktop, and the kendo tires were the closest we could get to trial tires with the 17” rear. After 3k miles I got to tell you these are great, the backs may only last another 3k or so, but the difference is amazing off the road, and they work about the same as the scary trailwings on the road. Great compromise, but we only ride in the mountains of Colorado and Utah, so not that much mud, just rock, dirt and gravel mostly. I am more than happy to change tires every two years and feel safe on the two lane and the trails. These are truly all terrain tires, good both off the road and on.
