Dunlop D607
On my Triumph Tiger 900 the Dunlops replaced the Michlien T66's that came stock. The D607s gave a smooth highway ride but were no better than a street tire in the dirt. On a trip to Alaska in 2005 the rear tread evaporated with about 5000 miles. The Metzler Tourences I replaced them with are better in the dirt and will last twice as long. The only thing thats better with the Dunlops is the price.

Dunlop 607 rear tire
This is my second 607 rear; the first lasted only 4800 miles, used on an 05 DL1000 V Strom. Bought another rear to last through the front Dunlop. Handling-fair, wear-poor. I would use Bridgestone Trailwings (ran 7500 miles) before another set of Dunlop 607's. The Trailwings also felt more predictable in corners than the Dunlops.
