Mark Wing Felton,  CA great street tire posing as a dual sport tire My application for this D607 rear is a V-strom 650. While I was disappointed to find that it does not have much of any grab for the dirt I have been surprised by how excellent it is on the street. It does take some warm up time but once this tire has the heat it sticks amazingly well and gives lots of confidence and a very predictable turn in all the way to peg scraping angles.

mike los angeles,  CA Dual sports on a bonni t100 These are great tires. The only thing is when they are new they like to track with the rain grooves on the freeway. They are great in the canyons/paved. They are marginal on a fire road/dirt.

Tiger Mike Minneapolis,  MA Dunlop D607 On my Triumph Tiger 900 the Dunlops replaced the Michlien T66's that came stock. The D607s gave a smooth highway ride but were no better than a street tire in the dirt. On a trip to Alaska in 2005 the rear tread evaporated with about 5000 miles. The Metzler Tourences I replaced them with are better in the dirt and will last twice as long. The only thing thats better with the Dunlops is the price.

John Tucson,  Northwest Dunlop 607 rear tire This is my second 607 rear; the first lasted only 4800 miles, used on an 05 DL1000 V Strom. Bought another rear to last through the front Dunlop. Handling-fair, wear-poor. I would use Bridgestone Trailwings (ran 7500 miles) before another set of Dunlop 607's. The Trailwings also felt more predictable in corners than the Dunlops.
