david hendersonville,  NC Dual Sport?!? Picked up a new rear out in Colorado. Great on the road. Hit a gravel road and sorely missed my wore out Metzler Tourance! I was climbing a graveled road and got stuck, unable to advance. This was gravel, state road. Mounted these on a 1000 Vstrom. If you are going to venture off asphalt...venture to another tire.

Dennis Trafford,  AL Dunlop for BMW GS This is the second set of Dunlop D607s for my 2001 BMW R1150GS. They wear well (8000+ miles), are quiet and do not scallop like other brands of dual sport tires and they perform well in both wet and dry conditions. For 90% road riding, they are the best choice for durability, price and quality and they are available in stock due to their popularity. Motorcycle Superstore got them to me quickly at the best price on the internet with free shipping.

Dennis Houston,  TX Dunlop 607 DS tires on BMW GS OE tires were Mich T66s, no longer made. They wore poorly and cupped severely. Next I used Mich Anakees, better than the T66s but still some cupping and mileage was poor. The Dunlop 607s have provided the best mileage with no cupping and quiet performance. Traction is very good wet or dry and these tires will easily outlast the Michelin models for a large DS bike like the BMW GS. Also, these Dunlops typically cost a bit less then the Michelin Anakees.
