Luke Dallas,  TX Nice for KLR650 I put a pair of D606 tires on my KLR650, great performance off road compared to the stock tires. They hook up really well on the soft stuff where the stock tires would slip quite a lot. On road they are not as nice as the stock tires but I can live with the performance compromise for the extended tire life, they chirp easier on the street around corners and stopping. I would highly recommend for dual sport riding mostly off road or short road trips, but probably not for the touring dual sport riders. They howl pretty good on the street too, could get annoying for the long haul.

Seth Cockrill Longview,  WA great value This tire is the best on-off road tire that I have found. Aggressive on the trail and surprisingly sticky on the slab. Will buy again.

Kevin Dubuque,  IA Nice tire Replaced stock tires with the D606 front and rear. I have only been off road a couple times since, but this tire hooked up well in deep mud, hard packed, and sandy soil. Very stabile on the highway up to 74 mph, then the front end moves around. Not sure how they will wear, but as of now I am impressed.

Eric Naperville,  IL Street legal off-road tires!! If you want your street legal enduro to stay street legal and still have tires as aggressive as your dirt bike, then these are the tires for you. Not too bad on the road, slight-noticeable hum at around 50mph to 60mph, but all out off road traction when you leave the pavement. Definitely worth the trade-off if your bike sees more trail than road. DOT legal and very manageable on road.

bret queen creek,  AZ desert tire The 606's are great out here in the southwest desert. Great traction on a 650R in sand, hard pack, rock, and loose dirt.(not much mud here) The edges 'smudge' a little when driven hard on pavement, and you can expect quick wear on pavement. Overall great tire for dual sporting where you are 70% or better off road. Have done 3, 200+ mile rides on one set before replacement. They were tough trails, and the tires still had enough meat left to save as spares.

TREVER columbus,  OH d606 Hooked up better than I expected in heavy mud and great on pavement. I’ve only had them a month so not sure how they will wear but from what I can tell so far does not look like it will last long riding on pavement.

Doug Polson,  MT The D606 on my KLR 650 This tire rocks. It grips everything it rolls over from dirt and mud to stone and pavement. It makes my dual sport look more dirt than street which is awesome. Two weeks of riding and it shows no wear at all so far so I think it should last. Thanks Dunlop!

Michael Miranda Knoxville,  TN Dunlop D606 Fits and looks great on my KLR 650. Chirps a lot easier on the pavement when downshifting though. I would imagine that life expectancy on pavement would not be the greatest, but all around a great tire and great value.

Paul Rochester,  NY Better off This is a great off road tire. We have a lot of wet sticky mud in this area, and it cleans itself very well. Also does well on the hard pack if you play with the pressure. As far as on road goes not many miles of wear in this tire on the rear. I have a XR650L that has had these tires on it from week one. The factory skins had to go. The bike has 3200 miles on it now. The front is doing great. I'm on my second rear now and will have to change it by the time I get to 4000 miles. The first one had good tread at 2000 miles, but started to chunk, and split. This one on it now looks as if it going to do the same. But even at this the tire for a full blown knob has very good manners on the street. Even in the wet. My riding is about 60% on and 40% off. For the money, and the way they work off road. Really you can't go wrong with these tires. I'll keep buying them.

Greg Todd Kempner,  TX Dunlop D606 Dual Sport Rear Tire I have a 2006 Suzuki DR650SE. The OEM tire lasted 6 months and was almost completely worn out. I replaced it with a Dunlop D606. After almost 4500 miles, I decided it was time to replace it again. It still has some tread left, but not enough to pass the annual inspection. I chose to get another D606. Although a large portion of my riding is on highways (120 miles round trip to work), I have log some dirt miles as well. This tire is the best wearing knobby I have ever have on a dual sport/dual purpose motorcycle (the Dr is my 7th over the last 30 years). It's about time to replace the from OEM tire, and have already ordered a front Dunlop. I would recommend this tire to anyone looking for a full knobby with good wear on the road.

jbdesigns hamburg,  NJ D606 rear tire I have about 300 miles on this tire. Most of the riding is in the dirt. As advertised, it is a 90/10 tire for mostly off roading. Mounted on a suzuki DRZ400S. Works fine on the road for casual rides on back roads. Not as good in dirt as a true MX tire. It isn't as aggressive as a single purpose dirt tire. But it is worlds apart better in the dirt than the stock dual sport tires the bike came with. I feel it is pretty good in the dirt and will get you around fine on the roads provided you

BAR queen creek,  CA D606 I'd have to agree with Mr. on the 'squirrely at first', but they break in quickly. Definitely as advertised. Used on 2001 XR650R that has been made street legal. I would not recommend these for any more than 10% on-road travel, but they are great off road.

Fred Nicolet Santee,  TX Customer Review of D606 I use this tier on my Suzuki DR650. It's a great tire. It wears out faster than a tire with a road tread but it works as advertised.

bhtransalpin Rapid City,  SD Mr. Mounted a set on my 1990 Honda Transalp last June. They were a little squirrely when first riding on the blacktop, improved after a bit of wear. EXCELLENT on the trails and back roads. Wet weather riding was a bit of a challenge - but hey, they're knobbies! Dry weather on road riding was adequate, but noisy. I won't mount another set unless I plan on about a year of HEAVY off-road riding. Tires lasted about 4500 miles. Most places advertise these as 90/10 (off/on) and they are correct - n
