D606
Replaced original D603 on a KLX. This tire has over 2000 miles of mixed riding in sand, mud, snow, trail, gravel roads, and tarmac, and is only half worn. There may be better off-road tires and better street tires, but if you want a tire for true dual sport riding, this is a great all a rounder. More road hum than D603, but wider footprint. Great value for a do-it-all tire.

Wrong tire for Yamaha XT225
I really wanted this highly rated tire for my Yamaha XT225. The 120/90 - 18 is just too tall to fit in the rear swing arm of my XT225 with the OEM chain. When mounted properly there is about 1/4" of clearance, but this is not enough at speeds over 50 MPH. The knobbies scrap the center ridge of the swing arm tearing off hunks of rubber.

Cautionary Note for Yamaha XT225 Owners
A rear D606 in size 120/90 - 18 is too large to fit an XT225 using the stock chain. Although there was a 1/4" of clearance when mounted, the knobbies scrapped the swing arm at freeway speed. Now there are chunks of rubber missing after a 20 mile test ride. I'm forced to find another tire in the OEM size (120/80 - 18) to replace this damaged D606 or try to utilize what's left of the tire by using a longer chain. A major hassle either way.

D606 malfunctioning
I have been using 606 on my Dr650se for 3 years now. Of the last 10 used, 4 have had knobbys come apart and split or tear completely off. 3 others I ride with are also seeing this. When Dunlop is notified they want the tire shipped back at our expense, then they will determine if it is a defect. We have sent pictures of all angles, but Dunlop insists we pay another $20 to ship the tire back. Unfortunately this is my last Dunlop 606.

Dunlop 606 is a great tire
Used a set of 606's on my Honda XR for a 900 mile trip across the Oregon backcountry. Great durability and performance. I experienced highway and road riding, packed dirt, silt, sand, fire roads, water crossings, mud, and SNOW. The tires performed exceptional in all conditions and wore well. I have nearly 1200 miles on these tires and I'm still using them. Getting ready to change out the rear, but for knobbies and combined road and dirt riding, these things are awesome!

Great dualsport tire
The best dualsport tire on the market IMO. Good traction off road, but will still make 1000 miles. There are tires out there that last longer, but give up a ton of grip in the dirt vs the D606.

D606 Rear
This is a great tire i wish i could get a few more miles out of it, but for such an aggressive tire its amazing how long it last. I do almost all my shopping online for motorcycle gear and parts and motorcycle superstore has been the fastest and easiest to work with by far!

Great tires
I just wish they would last eight thousand miles. Haha...that would be great. Kidding aside I run them on a DRZ400s and they stick like glue in gravel, two track, single track and tarmac. Love em.

D606 Rear
Love this tire for the rear, bites good and wears better than any I have tried and I have tried every 17" DOT tire out there.

Great dual purpose tire
Have ridden these tires in all conditions...deep mud, rock, over trees...single track and double. Riding on a Yamaha WR250R. Great tires.
