Great tire
I am new to riding so take that into consideration with this review. These are actually my first road tire even though they are not 100% road only. They ride great, really sticky and work well enough off road.

Best all around tire I've owned.
I've had these tires on my 99 DR350SE for over a month now. They have greatly improved highway stability, wet or dry, and are sticky enough that I can still have as much fun in the corners as I do on my R6. They have made my morning commute to work a riot. They work great for trails too, especially on hard pack. Mud is another story. They are a little squirmy on muddy or loose sand/gravel trails but will still get you from point A to B. Awesome tires. I will definitely be back for another set when these wear out.

Distanzia
At first this tire tracked a lot on grooved concrete; however, this has decreased since the tires have been scrubbed in.
The traction on dry tarmac and dirt is very comparable with the Metzeler Tourance.
After 2300 miles, they seem to be wearing well. Overall, I'm happy with the Distanzia.

good supermoto tire
Won’t last as long as a sport touring tire, but provides lots of grip all the way to the edge. I haven’t had them long enough to review how long they will last me.

Good Tire
I mounted this tire because I had read a great review and it came out well against other dual sport tires. It has great traction on gravel and dirt and I was dragging pegs with it on pavement with no issues. A friend used his extensively in the rain and claims it does well there too. Price wise, it’s a bit cheaper than the Anakee and Tourance, but I think is comparable, some say better.Time will tell. I just mounted a Karoo 2 T that I got from motorcycle-superstore as well. So I will see how this combo does on gravel and dirt and mud this winter with my v-storm.

Avon Distanzia Rear Tire
Very high quality and good looking tire. Good choice for 80% road, 20% off-road bike like KLR650. It gets a decent grip on gravel. The beads were tight and took a lot of pressure to pop on.

Great buy
These tires are awesome! Great price....They handle great on the street in wet and dry conditions, on the straights and in hard twisties they hold well! Hardly any road noise and smooth ride. Still a big enough tread for off road action as well .I would recommend these to anybody !

decent tire
I have these on my Honda XR650R supermoto. They are decent tires with good traction on the road and gravel. My only complaint is the rear only lasted about 1000 miles. We do ride pretty hard though. I wish I got the mileage out of them that some do. Otherwise I am happy with the tires.

AVON DISTANZIA REAR ON BMW R1200GS
TIRE SEEMS TO HOLD AS WELL ON DIRT/GRAVEL AS IT DOES ON ROAD, EVEN IN HARD FAST TURNS. TIRE LIFE ABOUT 5000 MI. RIDING FAIRLY HARD.

Avon Distanzia 150/70/R17
I put this rear tire on my 05 DR-Z400 SM. I was looking for a more aggressive tire over the stock street tire. I ride both street and dirt/gravel roads and the stock tire was a little too much like riding on marbles. This tire does the trick. It has plenty of traction on the street for the twisty's and yet has an aggressive enough footprint to give you grip on gravel. I have taken it off road a couple of times, but since my front tire is still the stock SM I was still sliding all over the place on the slick stuff. If you have a Dual Sport bike and you ride both street and dirt/gravel roads with not too much deep off roading action this may be a really good tire for you.

Great Road Tire
This tire is a great tire for commuting, and weekend light, off road stuff. Aired down this tire grips the fire roads and some loose stuff with authority. It obviously isn't a pure dirt tire, but with the air pressure set to the upper end, the tire handles well, and is predictable even at the edge of traction. Like all road tires, when aired down, be careful on the street, as the tire doesn't like to turn well.

Distanzia and KLR650
I have used these tire on both of my KLR650's and get good life and handleing from them. Great for hwy use and not too bad on logging roads.
