GOOD TIRE
I just had the tires installed at the local bike shop. I instantly felt a smoother ride compared to the OEM tires on my 2008 klr650. I got a little over 8300 miles on the OEM's and I hope to get that much at least or more from this new set of distanzias. Thank you Motorcycle Superstore for prompt delivery and a great price.

Great tire
I am new to riding so take that into consideration with this review. These are actually my first road tire even though they are not 100% road only. They ride great, really sticky and work well enough off road.

Best all around tire Ive owned.
I've had these tires on my 99 DR350SE for over a month now. They have greatly improved highway stability, wet or dry, and are sticky enough that I can still have as much fun in the corners as I do on my R6. They have made my morning commute to work a riot. They work great for trails too, especially on hard pack. Mud is another story. They are a little squirmy on muddy or loose sand/gravel trails. Awesome tires. I will definitely be back for another set when these wear out.

Good on road tire
I took this tire to Alaska recently on a Versys 650. Tire performed well in the road, dry or wet. I never felt the tire slide not a bit, even when the bike was loaded and it was raining. I put 11K miles in 15 days of riding, with about 1,000 miles of dirt/gravel travel at high speeds up to 100 mph with an average speed of about 65 mph. In the dirt it needed more tread. In the mud it was pretty slippery as it rained for about 100 miles when riding the Dalton Highway, I was only able to go 25 mph as the front would slide too much. Overall happy with the performance and durability for the price, most likely would purchase again.

Great on a Super Moto
I have a DRZ400SM and while the stock tires were good on the pavement, they weren't worth beans on dirt roads. It almost felt like I was riding on marbles. I do mostly blacktop riding but wanted something with a little bite on dirt. These tires are the way to go; they handle just as well as the stock tires on pavement (even better in the rain) and work great on dirt/gravel.

I was a little concerned by comments previously expressed online re these tires. Fear be shunned! The day I got em installed i went to a huge sport complex and scuffed em in, they held real tight asphalt hairpins and powered out like a champ, they held 70 mpg sweepers as i powered into triple digits. I am very pleased with the street-a-blility of these dual purpose tires, then Daytona 200 was on the schedule so i haven’t had a chance to put them in the dirt and gravel roads which are so abundant in the Rockies. I have no doubt as to the exceptional performance these tires will provide on the ktm duke II.
plus! they look exotic on the bike, it went from a street hooligan to king kong of dual purpose machines.

Avon Distanzia Dual-Sport Front Tire
Good choice for 80% road, 20% off-road bike like KLR650. A very good looking tire on the bike, and smooth on the road. My only problem was that the beads were very hard to seat.

A good street performance dual sport tire.
This tire is rated 80% street and 20% dirt. I have only used it on the street. It grips far better than the dual sport knobbies that I had been using. I feel more confident in my cornering.

Good tire for dual sporting
Tires do not track as well as 100% street tire but make up for it on loose gravel, tires seem to heat up quick and stick well.

Stiff Sidewalls
This tire holds the road well. If you’re a commuter, this tire would be great for that, and some light trails on the weekends. Aired down, this tire tracks pretty well on dirt trails.
A good maybe 90/10 road/off-road tire so far. Didn't change the weights on the front end, and no vibrations up to 90 mph.
