doug santa rosa,  CA shinko 705 rear These tires are great and from the get go feel planted...they feel a little softer than radials but its a good thing not floaty...easy to turn in and stick...have about 1000miles on them so far and do well in all conditions...nice and grippy in the rain...what i don't know is how long they'll last but hey, for what they cost, i'll be happy with 4-5k miles!!...

leedna Lakeside,  CA huh? Excellent tire - but only have several hundred miles on it - and no rain in SoCal…so I can’t comment. It corners surprisingly well for a dual-purpose tire Just fine as a commuter Excellent on fire roads Very happy with purchase - and price! Thanks SuperStore

scott s morgantown,  WV Shinko 705 I bought a set of Shinko 705's for my WeeStrom and have been quite satisfied with them. I would rate them as a little better off-road than the oem tires, but not quite as smooth and sticky on pavement. That being said, the price of both front and rear Shinko 705's was about the same as the Bridgestone (oem) rear tire only!

Brian W Mansfield,  TX Great Tire for the Price Bought the tire because I am cheap, but love the tire. I thought I would have to give up something over the OEM tire, maybe overall speed. But if you are doing 130mph on a Strom you are a nut. This tire is well worth the price and the quality is as good as the Big Names.

Glenn Riverside,  CA Verdict still out Suzuki DL1000 So far so good. No discernible problems so far with maybe 1000 miles. Haven't had them wet yet but I'm timid in the rain anyway. Work at least as good as the OEM Trailwing. Wear seems to be on par as the TWs. So, they ARE a much better value.

Norm S Woodstock,  GA Still working on it Like the front tire I immediately headed out on a 2500 mile trip. Scrub in went well and actually the tire gripped, cornered and wore well. However, around 8oo miles I began noticing some cracking down in the groves where the tread meets the tire core. At first this was minimal however as the trip went on it became worse. It never got the point of fully delaminating from the tire however by trips end the tire was not holding air well. That being said MSS.com put me in contact with the vendor and they immediately sent me a replacement. I will be installing it this week and am looking forward to giving the new tire a work out soon. At this point I am putting my faith in that I just got a bad tire (this happens at times), the service from the vendor was exceptional and I am looking forward to a long happy relationship with the Shinko brand. More later.

Scott Concord,  NC Shinko 705's R100GS with new Shinko 705s'. Just a few hundred miles so far, but like the tires very much. Very smooth on the road and grip well in gravel. The rubber seems on the soft side, but the tread depth is very thick. I think these will compete with the Torrances quite well. So far they are great! Corner nicely and hook up well. For the money, they seem to be a real good deal!!

steven scherrens louisville,  KY shinko 705 rear Perfect for the guy on a budget. I go camping and see quite a bit of off-road and unmaintained roads, and these tires perform better in all aspect (especially price!) than there competitor a.k.a. metzler tourance. Great in all weather ... a perfect dual sport tire....as long as shinko doesn’t raise their prices I am sure you will start to see more and more guys like me using their tire.
