New from Shinko Tire USA, the 705 Series are DOT approved dual sport tires designed for 75% street and 25% trail riding. An aggressive tread pattern provides excellent wet and dry weather adhesion and the compound resists tearing while riding off road.

doug uyehara santa rosa,  CA shinko 705 front This tire rocks!! i put them on and did 770 miles...great in the twisties and smooth on the highway...okay, so they're a little bumpy on takeoff 'cuz of treads but so what?...very planted in corners...they perform well on the track as well..though must admit, wasn't running them fast but didn't handle the s's nicely...this tire exceeds my expectations and am anxious to see how long they last...you can't get a better tire for the money!!

Bill Laman Cave Creek,  AZ Shinko tire reveiw I looked at the price 1/2 what any other tire replacement was and said what the heck I'll give them a try. Received them in 2 days at my door. They looked good & I had them mounted on my V-Strom. So far after 400 miles and 100 miles on dirt I'm happy. Wet is rare in AZ. so it may take awhile. If I get anything over 4M miles I'm even so we'll see.

Tom Cameron,  OK Shinko 705 I have about 2000 miles on these so far and I would say that they are about 80% as good as the Tourance on the street and about 300% better off road for about 1/3 of the cost. I will definitely be buying another set.

Glenn Riverside,  CA Verdict is still out Suzuki DL1000 Dry traction is as good as the OEM Trailwings. Bias ply might be the reason for a little more movement at speed on the highway. Haven't had them wet yet. Front tire howls. Even when new it sounds like my worn out TW. Wear seams as good maybe better than the TW.

Norm S Woodstock,  GA So far so good Immediately went out and put 2500 miles on the new tires. The front held up very well, stability, cornering and wear have been above average. No problem recommending this tire especially in consideration of the great value.

steven scherrens louisville,  KY shinko 705 front For a long time I have been searching for the perfect dual sport tire at a fair price. I have finally found it. A great mix for the v’strom and very capable of both street and dirt roads to fire service roads. Grips as good as metzler tourances with a better grip offroad than the tourances. Assuming the prices stay close to the same this tire will become my new tire of choice. You can buy a set of these for cheaper than one tourance and the only time you will tell the difference is when your offroad....BECAUSE YOU CAN ACTUALLY CONTROL THE BIKE NOW. Good job shinko.

Scott Wesley Chapel,  FL Good tire for the money My only gripe is it seems kinda noisy compared with the bridgestone I had on their last. It seems to handle the same. Will buy again! V-Strom 650
