kendall c joplin,  MO anakey2 tire Tire is very sticky dry or wet. This is the second anakee rear tire on my DL1000 and got around 4,000 miles out of the first anakee. Hope to get longer life from the anakee2 tire that I ordered.

Ron Hayes Canton,  GA Excellent The more miles I ride, the more confidence I get in this tire. It really handles well on pavement and it’s quite. It has also worked well on the dirt roads I ride. If I get the mileage that it’s suppose to, I'll be sold for life. Great tire.

Dick Palmer,  AK Alaskan Review I LIVE in Alaska, not just ride up there on an adventure. I do 100 miles roundtrip daily during the riding months on my R1200GS. 100 miles roundtrip daily, sandpaper roads, 20% twisties, wet/frost/dry, 75mph bumper to bumper, 10 miles of loose dirt. The wear that I've had is on the toe soles of my riding boots, not on my tires, if you understand what I'm saying... riding with lean is my requirement. Have 12,ooo miles on these skins and figure that I have 5,000 miles left before replacement. I will not look for another tire.... Dick Larson.. Palmer Alaska

Rick Morden,  MB Anakee2 I put a lot of miles on my VStrom each year (currently 150,000km) and have to buy a lot of tires. I was interested in Michelins claim for higher mileage on the 2 and decided to give it a try. So far I have put 5,000km on the tire and there is very little wear at all on it, much less than I would have seen on the previous Anakee and other brands. Handling is superb; the tire is quiet and provides great traction in the rain. So far I am very impressed.

STEVE WOODS DENTON,  TX ANAKEE 2's on an R 1100 GS The first trip with the new Anakee 2's, on my R 1100 GS, was to northwestern Arkansas. Both bags were full & I weigh 260. The tires did well. There were no surprises. Very stable in the sweepers as well as in the tight (20 mph) twisties. No rain on this trip so I can't comment on wet traction. This trip was only a bit over 1000 miles, so I can't comment on tread life. The only other comment I could make would relate to tire pressure. The R 1100 GS will punish the rider who does not keep up with his/her tire pressure! But, wont they all? At this time, I am pleased with my purchase and the service. Promptly, right to my door and the best price I could find, anywhere.
