Awesome tire, can't rate tread life yet only 259 mi. But most of it in the rain, good ole northwest weather.

The Best
This tire rules and will rip the road. Feedback is good considering it's a knobbie..practically sportbike pace canyon riding with no slippage without ample warning. Great in the dirt, but they do seem to pack a tad when things get sticky. Very pricey. And I only get about 3500 miles out of the rear, 7000 out of the front. I will never buy anything else for spirited canyon riding / dual sporting.

Great tire!
2nd rear tire on my F800GS. There will be a 3rd! Wet traction on pavement is a little squirrely and the tread life sucks but over all this is a great tire. Very confident riding off road with TKC-80's

Picked the bike up from the dealer in Grand Rapids and took the back roads to Lansing. The first time I came across a sharp curve I almost oversteered. These things really grab the road! Not loud, comfortable ride, very responsive, dig in the dirt, man I just can't say enough good about them.

2nd one I've bought - love them
This is the 2nd rear TKC80 I've bought, tried several other tires - the TKC80 is just a wonderful all around tire for my KLR 650. Really solid all the time on the road, super on dirt. Its the only tire I'm buying anymore. Get about 5,000 miles per rear, which is acceptable for me.

Great Tire, Poor Tread Life
These are great tires on and off road, they just wear out really fast, usually 4,000-5,000 miles. I have a couple dual sport bikes, one is mostly a commuter (90/10) and the other mostly off-road (15/85). I quit buying these for the commuter due to wearing out so fast. My only complaint with performance would be the lateral traction in the slippery stuff. I don't think there is a better tire for on and off road use, the tread life is the price you pay for that.

Not much of a sacrifice.
Great paved road knobbie, with only a little loss in feel. Very good in the gnarly stuff. Avoid running on hot pavement. You can visually see the wear daily.

TKC 80 rear tire
Good dualsport tire, with limited tread life. Handles well in dry conditions, and acceptably in the wet. I never push it once it’s wet, however.
