review a tire after a month?
Seems stupid to offer a review of a tire after only a month riding on it. Can't speak to durability but heck it arrived in good condition and hasn't shredded on me so I guess from a one month perspective A-OK.

good tire
Great tire. Seems to be wearing very slowly. Handles well on and off the road. Even past a couple of sport tour bikes on the way up to Sky Line Drive. I am running with the Dunlop - D606 on the rear.

knobie love
I love this tire, the back only last me about 2500mi.but they stick! I like the knobie on the front and a annakee on the back of my 1200gs, the front feels much better on the street and the dirt and last longer I think? Gravel sand so what! Stick it in there she will hold...

I run these tires on my BMW GS1200 Adventure, as well as my BMW X challenge. I love these tires. I am getting around 6 to 8000 miles on the rear and around 10000 miles on the front with the 1200. Slightly less on the 650 but I run the 650 much harder than the 1200. That's why I have the little bike! They are a little more expensive, but for a 60/40 mix tire, you can't go wrong. I have gone off-road with these tires in Moab and single track in Colorado. Never once have I had a problem. These are very good tires for whatever you want to do. Excellent for riding on the hwy to your favorite riding spot, then great for your off-roading as well. These tires do howl down the road but much quieter than the Pirelli MT21's! Have yet to have a flat or a failure and I have probably put around 50000 miles on TKC 80's on my bikes!

Good for dirt, not too bad on pavement but tire life is fairly short
This is a pretty standard choice for large dual-sport bikes; I use it on a BMW R1200GSA. Works well on hard-pack and gravel, less so in sand and really loose stuff. Maybe due to the size/weight of the bike. Does pretty well on pavement; good stability and cornering for a semi-knobby. Tire life is short if using it on pavement, longer than the rear but still less than 7000 miles. Overall, good choice if you ride mostly off-pavement.

Put this on front of my 990 KTM Adventure. Much better traction and confidence in off road situations than the stock Pirelli Scorpion. Mileage life much shorter than Scorpion but I expected that and am willing to trade mileage for grip. I ride 70% dirt if possible, asphalt is a necessary evil.
