6k report on Buell Ulysses
At 6k miles I have 3/32 of tread remaining on the chicken stripe. Much better than the factory Dunlops.

great so far
I only rated the tread life and wet traction a 4 because I just installed the tire and havn't rode enough to fairly rate those 2 catagories. pirelli is the only maker to offer this tire in the 180/55-17 to fit my 2011 harley xr1200x. so far so good feels fine cornering and just got in a ride on some gravel roads and two tracks and i'm happy.

Great tires
I've only had the tires a short time and ridden them on dry pavement and compacted dirt/gravel. In those areas the tires have excelled. I'll find out about wet traction and tread life later on down the road...

Better than the Scorpion Syncs
Great on pavement with plenty of confidence on dirt, sand and gravel. They are even better than the original scorpion syncs and work great on my Buell Ulysses. Can't comment on wet or tread life.

Pirelli-Trail Scorpion tires
This is the second set of trail scorpions I have put on my DL-1000. I ride mostly on the road with a gravel or dirt back road once in a while. Great tires that completely change the way the bike feels. The bike always feels planted and stable even if I push a corner hard. I get about 9000 miles per set and will buy them again when the time comes.

Surprisingly good
These came stock on my BMW F800GS. I was concerned about the 90/10 road bias because I ride quite a bit on dirt. So the question was: keep these or replace them? As expected, these are very stable and secure road tires. The surprise was that they actually did pretty well on gravel and dirt roads. I have not taken them into the mud or more rocky terrain, and do not plan to given the tread pattern, but they seem just fine for running on the milder unpaved surfaces.

2000 miles on the Scorpion Trails
I've now ridden off road, in torrential rain, on hot pavement, over gravel-covered asphalt and a little mud with these tires and I love them! I can confidently lean hard into a corner more than I could with my stock Dunlops or the Michelin Pilots. Those are not the ideal tires for my mostly-rainy climate in my experience. I do notice the tires wearing a bit quicker, but that is to be expected. I actually get to ride the bike like it wants to be ridden!

Good tire for ADV riding.
I put these tires on my Ulysses last month, replacing a set of Avon Distanzia tires. I was hoping to find more tread life without giving up too much dirt performance. Well, I can't vouch for the tread life yet, but I have been quite happily surprised by how well these tires work when the pavement ends. On gravel roads, I can't tell the difference from the Distanzias. Hard dirt is a non-issue, enough traction to pull the front end up coming out of the switchbacks. When the going gets soft, the tire sizes on the Ulysses become an issue before the tread pattern does. On pavement...well...they do say "Pirelli" on the side. Certainly no surprises on that end. Stable, smooth, high grip, controllable slide characteristic; can't ask for much more than that out of a street tire.

Good Tire
Approx 11,500 miles on the rear tire only because I wear tread low. Some cracking on the front and back tire that I am not happy with. Best cornering tire I've experienced. With the tires, V-strom runs with the rockets in the twisties.

Every bit as good as the old Scorpion M/T that used to be available
I installed my rear tire on 8/20/10, have ridden with a full touring load (7k miles) from 8/30/10-9/16/10 on my '80 GS850L. I now have almost 8k miles on this tire and expect it to last until I have 10k miles. The matching front has almost 18k on it, both are due for replacement before the next riding season, I usually put my bike away when it's too slick to get out of my driveway.
The tires have performed real well in all conditions except gumbo mud. Turning around in a dirt parking lot along the Enchanted Highway in North Dakota I hit a patch of gumbo mud, the tread filled up and the bike slid out from under me. Otherwise, with the many, many miles of stimulus package road destruction in the national parks and older US National highways I had no problem with these tires. They have also worked well in the rain, snow and dry. At freeway speeds there were no problems either.
