Prielli Dual Sport
Excellent tire, perfect for 95% on road. Would not expect anything else from Pirelli. Bike handles much better on the road than with stock Trail Wings. Tires heat up quickly and really grip the pavement. Have not had the chance to test them in wet weather, as for tread life, they have not been on the bike long enough for me to provide a comment

Scorpion Trails Work!
I have run several sets of these Pirelli tires now. These tires WORK! They are the best handling DUAL SPORT type tires I have used on my 04 DL 1000. I have used the stock Bridgestone Trail Wings, Dunlop 607's, Metzeler Torance and the discontinued Pirelli M/T 90 Scorpion which was the best tire till this latest version came out. I have over 50,000 miles on this bike now. I am a large person and I ride on the aggressive side. Tire wear is always a concern but I am willing to give up some mileage for a sure footed ride. I do 95% of my riding on pavement. Some of the paved roads are very coarse and uneven. These tires handle ALL surfaces with ease. The occasional dirt road or even just debris on the road are no problem. Mileage is no better or worse than with the other Duel Sport tires I have used but these tires stick in the turns. I drag a peg now and then and there is never any worry on my part whether or not the tires will stick. The tread lug out at the edge of the tread surface is smaller than many of the other Duel Sport tires and even when laid all the way over to the shoulder of the tire they stick.

Scorpion Trail Dual Sport
I installed these hoops on my DR650 and immediately felt more confident than the more dirt oriented tire from before. I ride 90% road, 10% trail and felt the balance these tires give me is perfect. There has not been a hint of sliding on pavement even when cranked over on the edge and on the gas. On the muddy forest trail the dirt packed up the tread quickly. On dry fire roads the tires performed well without too much drama. They may have worked better if I had lowered the air pressure, but I ran normal road psi the whole time. If you are looking for a commuter/adventure tire with major bias toward street you cant go wrong.

Scorpion Trail
I can't say enough about these tires. They grip really well in wet or dry pavement and will take a fire road with ease. I can't really comment on the tread life since I only have a couple hundred miles on them now and the teats are still visible. I had Anakees as my last set and these will take a corner with less effort on slab and wash on gravel. The tires seem to know your in a curve and the bike just falls into it effortless.
