These tires don't do anything badly, and can do much very well. That may sound lukewarm, but it's a very strong endorsement. On my WR250R I can get some serious lean angels on the street/asphalt with no vibration to speak of. Off-road they provide consistent predictable traction in gravel, dirt, and even sand (Pine Barrens in NJ). OK, maybe in mud they're only passable, but they're not scary. I've never experienced a tire that can do so many things so efficiently. The price is good too.

Replaced Dunlop 606's with these. 70 road/30 dirt on a Honda XR650L. When you are on the street you will be saying wow it's not a 606 and when you are on the dirt you will be saying wow it's not a 606...as expected. I have rode these on snow, ice, mud, sand, steep rocky terrain, and various types of pavement. Tire works ok on everything except very loose stuff and soft sand especially with lower pressure 20psi. Rubber is soft and I typically get about 3000 miles on these.

Great tire have used on KLR 650 AND XR 650l. Mileage is ok about 2000 mi. and a more expensive than a Kenda, but a much better tire.

I only have about 400 miles on them so far, but they aren't showing any signs of blowing tread off like the previous two Shinko 244's I had on the rear. They are a little narrower and look less beefy then the 244's but dirt and road grip are equally as good, if not a tad better in the dirt. If they last close to 5k miles I'll be happy.

At 35psi my klr felt like it weighed a 100lb's less and cornering was confident and quick. Once on the dirt at 20psi they really held their own against my friend's d606's and got me out of everything from water crossings, gravel, mud and rocks. Even at 20psi I was cornering at high speeds on mountain roads with ease but the road noise is quite bad for such a non-aggressive tread pattern. Bring head phones for long distance highway travel for sure.

I've only put 500 miles on them so far, 70% of that being on dirt. They handle great on and off pavement.

I looked at all the tires out there in the 50/50 and 60/40 category and chose the IRC 5.10 GP1 for my 2006 DRZ-400. The night I installed the tires it was wet and rainy, and against good judgment with fresh tires, I took the bike out for a ride. I was very surprised at how these fresh tires hung onto the wet road and the braking was a HUGE improvement over my previous set of AC-10s. Can't wait to see how they work once they are broken in. Next day on the dry pavement they also performed well. Haven't tried them on the trail yet, but I reckon they will do just fine at a lower tire pressure.

I really like this tire on my 1980 XL250S. Great balance between on road and off road performance, leaning quite a bit to on road. Only have about 100 miles of dry street riding on it, but all indications are that it will wear fine, and the dry traction is great. No noticeable instability in cornering. Highly recommend this tire. The only dual-sport tire I could find in 23".
