My new favorite tire
This tire works great everywhere i have tried. In the mountains and single trail its like riding on pavement there is so much traction. In the Desert there is still allot of traction and It behaves more like a knobby in sandy conditions. When the tire slips its predictable. I am running 10psi but people keep telling me to drop it to 8.5psi so i think i will. Pavement is like riding on a radial tire, It works great.

Good Tire
They seem to be pretty good tires, I have been happy with them thus far. They didn't work very good for me in the mud, and they could use some side tread. Overall-good tires, worth the money thus far.

Drinking the Trials Tire Koolaid
Gulp, pass some more koolaid! I have become a true convert and I run the MT43 on a Neutech Tubliss system at between 6-8psi. This tire is amazing and I expect to get between 2 and 3,000 miles between tires. And the traction after 1250 miles is still better than a knobby when brand new in everything but mud. Make the jump and don't forget to get a longer chain as your tire needs to be back pretty far.

Pirelli trials tire multiple use
I have been happy with product selection availability and shipping. So many stores are a hassle to deal with, I appreciate your service.
I am using the Pirelli trials tire on my 09 KTM 530 I am using it on the street now and will use it off road it is a great tire for everything. Knobs don’t work well on the street and dual sport tires are worthless off road, so my idea was to try the trials tire for everything good on road manners but still up to serious trail riding and hill climbing. Except deep mud of course.
I got the Pirelli because I was told the Michelin and maybe even the Dunlop would be to soft and melt on pavement. So far the Pirelli is holding up well on road, smooth, good traction and they work well off road. The Pirelli may not be a sticky as the Michelin but I wanted it to last on the road, for now I like it and I am hard to please.

Great tire in the rocks
I just got back from 7 days and 550 miles of riding the Rockys and this tire is still going strong. I heard horror stories of flats and to not run it too hard but on my KTM 300 XC-W in the rocky wilds of Idaho, it did fabulous. This tire still has many rides on it and after running knobby's all these years in the rocks, I won't be going back. Excellent value and easier on the trails, what else can you ask for.

great tire
This tire performs very well in the nasties. 5-6 psi is perfect for me (200 lbs, 525EXC). It wears very well, too.

Pirelli MT43 Trials Rear Tire
I installed this Trials tire on my KTM 450 EXC after my friend told me people have started using them on dirt bikes. I also have a GAS GAS 280 Trials bike, so I'm familiar with the grip these tire offer but I never thought of trying one on my moto. I like the feel of this tire because the tire stays hooked up does not roost when the power is on. The bike sits about an inch higher with this setup. I run 8lbs of air in it. The tire is meant to be friendlier to the trail and last over 1000mi. (vs. 600mi for a regular moto tire). The price was really low as well!

Pirelli MT 43 Trials tire
Put this tire on my KTM 300 XC W. This is the best performance upgrade I have done to any motorcycle in years. This tire is so much better everywhere for Trail riding, single track, slimy roots, and rocks than any knobby I have ever used. Shortfall, not for motorcross.

Great Tire
I really love this tire. The Pirelli trials tire is the best trials tire for rocky trail riding I have found yet and motorcycle superstore provides a price I can afford. We really like this tire. It last so much longer than the other brands yet is still soft enough and hooks up great!

Great tire
This Tire has lots of grip, so much you have to adjust you riding style on the trails.
Great tire for climbing up loose and rocky hills.
We run ultra heavy duty tubes and about 8 to 9 lbs. of air.
This tire is also DOT approved.

Good All Terrain Tire
This is the third trial tire brand I used after Dunlop and Michelin. This tire has stiffer sidewall, excellent grip in slick, greasy terrain not as grippy as Michellin. Suffer a bit on deep mud, just need a bit more push. On tarmac is way more comfortable than Dunlop. Price wise is the cheapest.

Great Tire
This was my second MT-43 rear tire for a reason, I ride in hard pack w/ a lot of rocks and jump on black top for connecting to more trails . This tire hooks up well everywhere and wears well.

The Real Deal
This tire performs awesome in the desert and mountain areas, it is the best on single tracks where you might go thru soft areas then into rocks. In the dunes it works better than a knobby and pulls up sand hills like no other. I don’t get much better life out of the tire but it works just as good nearly bald as it does new. I have a little over 500 miles on this tire and do a lot of rocky desert and mountain stuff. Most of my friends do dual sport and have up to 1800 miles on them doing lots of highway and trails. Use the Bridgestone ultra heavy duty tube its 5mm thick. I’m 225 plus a 50lb pack running 9-10 psi. It takes a few miles to pick up the feel it’s a taller tire so you might have to adjust the sag. Overall the best tire I’ve used to date

Update!
Well I just got my 2nd set, so that tells you that I liked them! So let’s update on the 1st tires performance. Traction in the Texas hill country off road, (dry, rocky, sandy) was great. On the road was smooth but not up to peg dragging duty. Durability was less than I had been looking for but I was doing lots of highway miles (80% -20%) so I'll cut it some slack. I will replace the old one at 2000 miles that said it handled the road and dirt great to date. Now that I have time for more off road, I'm trying them again. If I were going to do more road like before I would have gone back to the Pirelli mt 90-a/t. I got 6,000 miles out of them and they are better than I am on the street! (Go ahead and drag the pegs). But for Dual Sporting I'm likening these a lot!

Pirelli Trials tire
I ride the rocks of Chadwick and have been trying many different tires. This is now my tire of choice, traction very, very close to a radial trials, but handles more like a knobby with the ability to run flat. DOT and stiffer side walls make highway handling tons better. Only gripe is that I can't find a matching front in the U.S.

Great tire
Great all-around tire. I use it on my WR250R for dual sport purposes... I run at about 20psi around town and go all the way down to 6-8psi depending on the trail conditions. The tire has excellent traction in the woods over wet roots and rocks. Works great on the street... much smoother than a knobbie and more rigid than a full blown trials tire. The only thing I’ve had trouble with is the very wet clay/mud. The tires just don't do as well in those conditions, but everywhere else they are probably better than most knobbies.

Secret Weapon
This is has been a great upgrade to my 450exc. A lower tire pressure really allows this tire to shine. Ultra HD tubes are a must and two rimlocks will keep the tire from moving on the rim. It wears very well and in the slick stuff I am now aiming for rocks and roots for traction. Great tire for New England woods and single track...

Pirelli - MT 43 Trials
This was the first trials tire I have ever run. I put it on a 05 KTM 300 EXC. First thought was it looks weird on the bike and made the rear sit about 1.5" taller. First ride I was immediately impressed. The hook-up on all the terrain (desert) I ride was great! By the tire being taller it made my front end wash out a lot. One turn on the rear shock spring to lower it was all it needed. I have ridden about 4 times on this tire thus far and it looks like it has never been used still. I recommend this tire to anyone and I will be purchasing it yet again.

It's all true.....
Just buy one...you'll love it. Only weakness so far is in deep mud, but still gets thru it OK. Everywhere else seems to be better, and if it will outlast the useful life of a few knobby tires as people say, even better! I am running at 8# air pressure and it seems to be holding up fine riding on some gnarly NW terrain. Tons of traction; I am able to climb & cross technical sections with total control/confidence.

Best Trials Tire Yet!
This tire is exactly what I was looking for, I ride the San Rafael Swell UT area,(over 250 miles three weeks ago) and Colorado mountains,(100 Miles last weekend) Be brave! Run this tire off road with approx. 8lbs in it, I have the ultra heavy duty tubes, and even in the rocks I am snake bite free. Tire pressure makes a huge difference to how this tire performs I ride a KTM 520 and last weekend in the rocks and snow this tire was awesome, rock and root filled trails are no problem, and in the dunes in Utah, I ran it with 5lbs of air and it was like a paddle tire! I carry a CO2 and just air it up when needed.

on road
I thought I would Wait till I got some dirt time in on them but since the other review have that taken care of. Here go's, I thought I was going to have time off, but I've been doing 120 mile round trip to work and back at 60/65 mph for half of some 700 + miles. At first I got some cupping down the center knobs, adjusted air to 26 psi for highway use. That seemed to solve the problem or it could have just been the tires breaking in, but the tires are better now. The ride is smoother than I had ever hoped for and the grip gives great confidence. I haven't been dragging pegs, but they're way better than any knobby I've tried on the road. The karoo rear lasted only 1200 miles and were toast for off road after 500 mixed miles. I'm guessing I'll at least get twice or more miles by the looks of these, I’ve heard of 4000 + miles on them but with my road miles I’ll be happy with 3000 miles

MT-43 for desert trials
This tire is out performing expectations. The latest rage for technical riding is equipping dirt bikes with trials tires, for the obvious reasons. The only problem is the other trials tires just don't hold up to multi-purpose utility and power of today’s dirt bike,i.e. desert, mountain(loose, fixed rock) short dual sport pavement. The last trials tire shred all her knobs after 200mi. not to mention several "snake bites" pinched tubes along the way. This tire has a stiffer side wall, more aggressive tread pattern, and runs much cooler on hard pack and pavement, which wrecks havoc on the tread. This tire is a very good compromise for all around work and traction for my KTM 525.

Trials tire
I have tried Michelin and IRC trials tires and although they performed as talked about, they did not last as long. Maybe my riding style or a heavier bike and rider caused the early failures, but pinch flats and stem rip out and shedding of center row of knobs plagued my experience with them. I decided to try one more time with the Pirelli MT-43. Mounting was much more difficult because of the stiffer sidewall. I started at 14 lbs. pressure, then 12, then 10. Afraid to go lower yet because of previous experiences, but at 10 it handled rocks, roots, and mud as well or better than any knobby. The big surprise was on a stretch of pavement at 65 mph for 12 miles there was little heat buildup, no wallowing and no visible damage or wear. A total of 350 miles of mostly single track Idaho trails and little sign of wear thus far. So, for my 250 lbs (fully geared) and my KTM 570 thumper this is my choice for mountain trail riding. I would buy this tire again.

Nice for Trails/ Not for Clay Type Mud
With just over 100 Miles with this tire mounted on a '06 KTM 450 EXC. It has been exposed to widely varying terrain it is a very good tire. I am using a Ultra-Heavy Duty Tube and running about 12 PSI. It works great in rocky, wet, and dry conditions. It really shines on the hard pack terrain. Will buy again when this one wears out.

Great traction
I switched from knobby tires on my Yamaha XT225, to the trials rear tire. On our rocky and gravel terrain, traction is much improved. Hill climbing is much easier. Only deep gravel is worse. Wear is at least as good as knobbies. I run 12psi with UHD tube, no problems. Tire grabs traction on gravel, where a knobby spins. Good choice!

Hybrid off-road tire?
That’s what I bought it for, and it has been fantastic. There is grip everywhere. I never thought that a tire could change my confidence in hill climbing and technical spots. I was on the fence about investing the money for a trials tire but, now I will never go back.
