Metzeler Tourance EXP Front/Rear Tires
I am extremely pleased. The tire improves the handling on the straight-a-way and off-road. The ride is less harsh as compared to others.

Huge improvement over the OEM Bridgestones on my V-Strom.

Changed to Metzeler exp from the stock michelins on my R1200GS. Two sets of Michelins in 14k miles compared to two sets of rear Metzelers in 28k miles and one front. The off road traction is marginal, on road traction is incredible.

Tourance EXP front tire
Well, 2500 miles into my Alaska trip with this tire, plus a rear. Tracking, handling, and braking well. Hope its better than original Tourance that only went about 8000 miles before it started wearing funny. See the web forums.

Tourance EXPs
I got these tires last month and absolutely love them. I have them on my BMW 1150gs. They have great traction on dry pavement and I've had no issues in rain either. A week after I had them mounted I took a 60 mile ride on a gravel road in the Colorado Mtns and they performed perfectly. They didn't like the mud too much but what tire does? I've heard they last longer than the regular Tourance but I won't know for another 7,000 miles or so.

Metzeler - Tourance EXP Front Tire
When I purchased my Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom, it was shod with Bridgestone Trailwings. While I actually enjoyed the Trailwings, when it came time to replace them, all my friends urged me to give the Metzler Tourance EXP a try. I have ridden the original Metzler Tourance (80/20 on/off road) once before on a previous motorcycle and liked them very much...until trying the EXP (95/5 on/off road) version. All I can say is...WOW! As good as the original Tourances were, the EXPs have definitely kicked it up a notch two for pavement-monkeys such as me. These VR rated radials stick in the curves like a coat of paint and allow me to fully utilize the road-bike performance my V-Strom is capable of delivering

Haven't put enough miles yet for a detailed review but....
So far these tires are very impressive on dry pavement. I have a 2000 Cagiva Gran Canyon which is an Adventure touring bike with the Ducati Monster 904 motor. The bike isn't high on horsepower but it does have a lot of torque and coming out of tight turns I would easily spin my Avon Distanzas. These tires have much better grip and didn't seem to loose their footing through wet patches either

With a couple hundred miles on the tire, it's riding really good. I have it on my V-Strom and it seems that it turns easier on the curves and has pretty good traction. I'm hoping I can get 17k on it like the original Bridgestone. What I dislike is that I have a ton of weights on the wheel when it was balanced.

Metzeler - Tourance EXP Front Tire - GREAT TIRE!
Prior to this, I rode on Michelin T66's which I thought were a fine tire until I rode on my new Metzeler - Tourance EXP tires. WOW! My Honda Varadero XL1000 has never handled so well before.
