Andreas Redondo Beach,  CA One of the Best Off-Road Tires for the Road Michelin Desert is a huge Tire. When I drove it on the Autobahn, it did stabilize my XT600 to the point where I could hit the handlebar at 100mph and the bike would not wobble up at all. It would wobble a just bit, but calm down immediately and it would continue to drive straight as an arrow. I think it is the perfect all-round tire for people who are serious off road minded and who at the same time like to use the bike for long distance travel. Hope this help.

paul burbank,  CA scary start, but worth it. I usually use D606 tires on my Dual sport, but thought I'd give these a try for this years LA-Barstow to Vegas ride. At first it was very scary the way it wobbled around 55mph. It didn't seem to matter if I was on the dirt, sand or street. But after about 70 miles that went away and the tire started to show its true colors. By the end of day 2 and 400+ miles there was no wobble and it tracked perfectly even through big rocks. Un-like the front tire the rear shows lots of wear and will need to be changed after a couple more rides.
