Great tire
I ran hard in Randsburg CA. Tire does well in sand (surprise for me) hill climbs with rocks, loose climbs with sand on rocks, super steep dirt climbs and trails. Sticks like glue on the ride to Schmidt's. I run 11 - 12 lbs on an xr400. With a bike like that not gifted with a lot of power it runs fine. Good on road too. Looks like it will wear better than the usual d606's.

Awesome Tires
No need to ever go back to knobbies. Great sticking power over diverse terrain. Great on and off road. The ultimate dual sport tire. Buy it and never look back.

not a mud tire
Great traction on everything but mud. Takes a few seconds to clear the mud after riding through it. Its kinda like riding on ice, and I actually got stuck in some shallow surface mud on a up hill section. That being said. I don't slide on roots anymore. Log crossings are a breeze and the tire seems to float on sand without giving up forward momentum. On gravel they are awesome and very predictable. I try not to ride in the mud so they are great for everything I do.

Pirelli MT43 Rear Tire
Love it for my style of riding (technical rocky climbs, single track). Works fine in the sand and mud too, despite what other people say. Definitely NOT a twist and roost type tire. Don't think I will ever return to a knobby.

3,000 Paved Miles
Road talk...just rode from NM to Georgia and unfortunately most was secondary paved. So lets say right now around 3,000 miles. Front tire looks great! Ran 23.5 lbs of pressure other. Am running 17 rear right now. Back tire. Put a new MT43 on in Houston because of an unusual wear pattern and sent it to Superstore. Got a full credit because of their efforts!! Like everyone I love this tire in the dirt. Beats the 606 hands down and the road..no hum. Just hope Pirelli keeps bringing them in.

Trials background.. better than all except maybe in slimey mud
Lasts well on my 450exc; great wear. Better in sand than my last knobbie (the stock one). No knob loss whatsoever. Not the best tire for ROOSTAFARIANS!!! Those who know and exercise precise throttle control will appreciate them the most. In My Humble Opinion!

WOW
I was told that these would work better then a knobby on everything except mud and sand, and would work better there than you would think. Love how they just push the bike forward with no fuss.

MT 43 Trails
I tell everybody that asks me, this will be the best tire you will ever use. I tell my friends twice. After that I just ride on and ride with ease. WAY BETTER THAN ANY KNOBBY, OVER 2500 MILES AND THEY STILL WORK.
