Kenda Washougal
I am a hardcore "A" trail rider. I ride rocky trails in the Arizona and Idaho mountains. After 500 trail miles this tire is still in excellent condition. NO chunking or cracking of side knobs. It will go 1000-1500 miles on these very rough rocky trails. Most tires like the Dunlop 51, 756 etc last about 500 and are in poor condition with side knobs missing. BUT I ride fast and this tire tends to push out on corners and is dangerous for fast trail riding. I will not buy it again. Even though my Washougal has only 500 miles on it now, and is good condition I AM going to replace it with another brand. If you are a "C" or slow "B" rider this tire will last a very long time. BUT WHEN THE FRONT TIRE DOES NOT HOLD, YOU GO DOWN INSTANTLY AND HARD. Most times it happens too quick to save it.
