Best desert tire for the money
The Kenda Triple Sticky front: 90/90/21 and rear 110/100/18 work better than any other desert combo I've tried. The front hooks up and allows for precision steering even on hard packed terrain that has light sand or desert powder on top. I have recommended these tires to riders with abilities from expert to pro, all have similar revues. The biggest complaint is tread wear, 500 miles max.

Best DOT dirt tire ever!
This is the best offroad front tire I've ever put on my KLR650. It has lasted 6,000 miles of mostly street riding and over 1000 miles of dual sporting. It grips insanely well offroad even without airing down though doing that makes it grip that much better. The dirt cornering confidence afforded is priceless especially in the dry, hard, and loose terrain of Rampart Range. They are the only tire I've ever put on my KLR that made me feel like I could ride it fast in the dirt!!! On the street, I've had it up to 80 MPH without a single problem, it handles like a less aggressive DOT knobby on the street but still corners amazingly well (think hooligan...) for anything with knobs. They afford more handling than you'd expect for a knobbie on the street. Overall, an amazing product that is worth it's price! When it comes to a summer tire for my KLR650(trail oriented but still somewhat street worthy preferably), THE 781 IS IT! I'd love to put one on the back of my KLR but they don't make a size that fits my 17" rim.

Very good tire! I've had this tire on for four races and two leisure rides and it is great. The conditions for those rides were pretty much all dry, though it did rain and get muddy towards the end of one race. The tire gets great traction everywhere I used it and it is very durable. I think it's the longest lasting front tire I've used to date. The previous brand I used would start to chunk side knobs around 3-4 races. This tire is showing no signs of that.
