I've been running these tires since the late seventies when I raced enduros. They stick in the corners like nobody's business. They wear well and I've never had any chunking issue. Want to turn your bike into a cornering monster? Buy these! I wish they made this tire in a 19 inch rear. I had go with a Perelli MT16 in the rear, which is almost, but not quite as good as the Metzler Unicross. I ride a sand, dirt, hard packed, root covered, wet log strewn mix of single track trails in Northern Michigan on a YZ250 2-stroke. Want to see them in action? I've only been able to log about a hundred miles on this tire so far, but I'm very happy with it. I love the old school tread design and have had no problems on tarmac up to 65 MPH. The cornering off road is way better than the Trailwings. It did have a slight mind of its own while riding on worn asphalt. It was tolerable. I would buy again.

This is the best dual sport tire I have ever used. It gives a consistent feel on the road. Off road it performs as good as any other dirt knobby in wet, dry, or sandy conditions. I have no plans to switch to a different tire.

I've got over 40 years in offroad racing and riding experience. These are the best all around tires you can buy. A worn out metzler is still better than the majority of other brand tires, for all around use.
