Put the springs on my bike over the weekend and they work great. The springs raised the height of the bike a bit and made it feel more solid. I bought the rear BBR spring also and the whole set made a real difference.
I weigh over 200 lbs and I can fly faster through the trails without bottoming out. Install on the front springs was easy. The back shock took a little bit of time to install. One of the best aftermarket parts to puit on a CRF 230F.

A nightmare to get the original springs off. I recommend buying them with parts already on them, wish I would have known.
BBR springs or a harshly treated xr100.

Great improvement on my yard bike (XR100). A must if a fat man is going to toot around on a bike built for a 10 year old.

Installed these on my CRF230F trail bike and what a difference. No more dive when tapping the front brakes. Will definitely look into replacing the rear shock spring next.

I also add 1/4 inch of shims. I'm Pro Racer {nhra, psm & scta lsr}, and use my CRF-150Fs {I have an A Bike and a B Bike } for Cross Training. I also did the rear spring too. I'm 140lbs-150lbs {depending on if I'm racing or not} I ride very high speed desert trails & the Mint 400 Course and it's a little over sprung for my weight, but I still bottom out a lot! My B Bike has stock springs with the shims and 20wt. It's softer, but I KILL IT every time I take it out.

They hold the front end of the CRF150f up higher in the stroke and balance out the bike with the stock rear shock spring. I am a 145lb, fast, aggressive motocrosser that rides this bike as my playbike on mostly motocross tracks. I changed the fork oil at the same time and went with BBR's recommendations for wt. and height.

The springs were very easy to install. They made an immediate difference in the bike. No more slushy fork forks. The forks were by far the weakest part of the bike. I decided to order the BBR rear shock for the bike as well.

I am much happier with these fork springs installed. My CRF230 no longer bottoms out over jumps on the track and the front end feels better planted through the turns.

Wow...what a difference. I wish I had installed these long ago. Let's just say I'm not 150 lbs anymore and these springs combined with the BBR rear shock spring made a HUGE difference. The installation was easy. I would recommend these highly.
