You don’t want damaged radiators if you crash your bike. These will help. I won’t race any of my bikes without them installed. They go on easy and the fit is great.

Good investment

This was an easy install and totally worth it. I have crashed a few times and wrecked out into a tree and not had any issues.

Can definitely tell they strengthen the radiator. On a 2012 250r a hole does need to be drilled in the radiator tab that holds the plastic guard on, inorder to get full benefits from the braces, but its a fairly simple modification. For me adds confidence while riding knowing if i take a tip over I can count on the braces for my rads not to be folded back and needing to be replaced. Overall good product which is absoulutly needed in my opinion.

Its worth the money

My bike has had the radiator torn off and cost $300 for a new one. This is worth the money to prevent another costly bill. They are kind of thin and only made of aluminum but once installed they seem to be pretty sturdy. Also keeps a clean stock look.

WOW - are these things ever flimsy! I rated fit as a 5 'cause I could simply bend the guards to fit... I don't believe these will last more than one impact.

This is only a brace and not a full guard. Get a full guard.

I got these in the mail and was able to flex them in the heat-shrink package. They would offer very little support in a side impact. This support will no doubt bend because it has no lateral pillar to withstand much pressure. They are not a brace only a support and will bend if your side gets hit hard or you take a spill with any momentum. No, I've not actually placed them on my bike and ruined a radiator. Rather I called the store and mailed them back unopened.
