Product Description

Black Ice incorporates the latest in thermal tuning technology. The product line includes a series of carbon fiber-based heat shields that provide a simple and inexpensive way to increase horsepower in your 4-stroke without major engine modifications.
Black Ice A/C Limits heat form entering your airbox and rear shock-canister by shielding heat emitted from the rear of your header pipe on most modern 4-strokes where pipe temperatures can exceed 500°
Air is denser when cooled, denser air mixed with a greater amount of fuel generates more horsepower
Black ICE test results show Black ICE Heat Shields protect your Air box, and Shock Canister from the heat emitted by your 4-stroke header. After a 15 minute moto on a CRF450 the air box measured 47 degrees cooler, and the shock measured 253 degrees cooler with the Black ICE A/C installed
