I like how easy it is to put on and take off with the hang tab design. Easy to remove to get at the bottom of the motor. Looks like protection of frame will be plenty.

I have a 1999 Ktm 300 exc and I couldn’t find a plastic skid to fit it. I decided there wasn't much diff between years in the frame. A little trim on the back hook and it fit like a dream. Nice product.

Skid plate for 09 Honda 450R is a engine cover with less protection on the oil filter side of the case than the factory plastic cover. Installation was one bolt on the left side of the frame and two slip on plastic tabs (1 one the right frame rail and 1 on the cross member at the rear. The right side of the cover is up against the water pump housing with no protection from rocks or logs. The skid cover will protect from rocks thrown up, but will not survive an impact on a rock sticking up on a trail. This is what it looks like, a 5 dollar piece of plastic to protect from rock chips and keep your the bottom of the engine clean.
