It went on very easy but I didn't know you have to tune the carb :( but exept for that it sounds great and looks great.

Bought this to replace a worn out stock muffler. The bike now seems to have lost some power and smokes a bit. I am new to motorcycles, but have been told I may have to adjust the jetting and carb settings to benefit from this muffler. I am sure once that is sorted out it will be great. Do your homework and make sure your bike is properly set up for this muffler. The FMF website is very helpful and they have techs available by phone to help sort our issues.

Love FMF exhaust. I have this silencer and the gold series fatty head pipe. Sound is the best very powerful crisp 2 stroke sound. The power gains are definitely noticeable. Bike is much more responsive.

My CR250 has more power on top and bottom end since I put this silencer on and it sounds better but still has that two stroke sound.

This Silencer was way beyond my expectations much quieter then my worn out 15 year old fmf pipe, Matched up with my FMF Gnarly Fatboy pipe, it has given me the whole package,
My cr-500 honda runs better then new, with this combo I have greater power throughout the whole power band, its much quieter, and brings out that sweet 2 stroke sound and power, it has heavy aluminum connections and a high gleam on the nickel plating, also the motorcycle superstore got the pipe here in 3 days, excellent service, I recommend if you want great looks more power and a easy install this is the place to get it

Is very good with a fatty pipe just a little loud but what did I expect. You have to reuse your stock rubber mounts also.
