Vance & Hines XCR Slip-On Exhaust

Introducing the Vance & Hines XCR exhaust system. The birth of a new breed of Vance & Hines exhaust, poised to conquer a rougher terrain; the off-road. Defying conventional off-road muffler design, the XCR’s squared-ellipse stands equally for distinction in style as well as performance, breathing power gains from the low to mid range over the factory exhaust.

Versatility reigns with a removable spark arrestor to allow for 96dB riding on park trails or tearing up the track with the optional competition ring for maximum top end power. With durable high temperature packing, the muffler mounts directly to the factory head pipe by way of a lightweight stainless steel TIG welded mid-pipe, demonstrating the XCR sacrifices nothing in quality while delivering the most cost effective solution for awesome performance.

Mark Kempfer Granite City,  IL 2009 KLR 650 All prior reviews were right. I was totally amazed when I 1st fired it up. Saved at least 4-5 lbs from stock muffler. My stock pipe clamp was too large to join pipes together so I put a stainless hose clamp on for now and works fine. No regrets at all on this muffler, very impressed with it. Yes, it's loud, but remember “loud pipes save lives!”

Pete Yaskovic Eugene,  OR 2009 KLR 650 XCR Exhaust Item arrived in just 3 days. Installation was VERY easy. 10 minutes to take off the stock exhaust, 10 minutes for the new exhaust. Slips exactly on the OEM pipe and bolted on perfectly. Really nice fit and has plenty of space from the rear plastic. Sound was a little louder than expected, but getting use to it from the stock sound. Does not seem to need any jetting and does not seem to be running lean. I am also going to try the 94db sound insert. I highly recommend this exhaust for the KLR. For the money, hard to beat it.

Kelly Santa fe,  NM Amazing I just got mine on my 09 klr650 and it gives a lot of extra Power, has a really nice sound to it people will finally hear me on the road. It's a lot less bulky than the stock pipe maybe dropped 6 or 7 pounds off the bike. Highly recommend it to any klr lover.

Terry Penn Yan,  NY Great exhaust I recently purchased this exhaust. Horse power improvement right away no rejetting required as stated. Install was easy. A bit loud stay off the gas in downtown areas. My 2009 KLR 650 sounds like a motorcycle now. I would highly recommend this product.
