Used to replace stock clutch on a hopped up XR650R. Found a stiffer clutch pull (more so at first) but hooks up under high loads, where I had problems with the stock setup. A good solution for my application.

put these plates & springs in my son's RMZ250 for cross country endurance racing. 2 races ( hour plus a lap on a 10 mile loop) and still holding up. He says their feeling soft, so I ordered a set of Hinson to have in the box for next weekend. Hate to turn wrenches at the track, but better than hauling home and missing the races.

I installed this in My KX500, no drama, smooth operation, changed My oil every ride to check My oil , oil is clear not muddy, most of the riding I do is steep twisted single track I use My clutch alot and this is a good replacment.

IF the clutch holds up, I will be happy. Easy job, and great feel to the clutch with new springs. MS is the best for good prices. I buy most everything here!

Bought this clutch two weeks ago no problem installing went for a ride up the mountain - 20 miles up the trail, no clutch. Being towed behind a four wheeler on a bike really sucks

It was time to replace the clutch in my 2002 Honda XR650l. I ordered the EBC clutch kit again as I had put one in a friend’s bike last year without issue. This time it was different. The clutch went right in but on the first ride something was wrong. The lever pull was extremely soft and the clutch was slipping on acceleration. Upon returning home I called Motorcycle Superstore and explained what was going on. I was asked "What do you want to do?" I asked for a new set of clutch springs. Barnett heavy duty to be exact. Sure thing, in stock and we'll get them right out. Not quite. It took over two weeks to receive the springs. Fail on the EBC springs and Fail on the two weeks to get the replacement springs.

This clutch sucks. I was looking at saving money so I went with the cheaper clutch and that is what I got. Plates just came apart like cheap glue. Going to stay with Barnett.

Yea it fits great but it falls apart. POOR quality and only lasted 2 hours. The friction material on 2 plates just crumbled. This was my first time using this clutch kit because it was cheaper. Well I got what I paid for....crap! As far as Motorcycle Superstore they have always been great at all my orders.

I replaced the clutch in my CR250R at the beginning of the season last year and was a little skeptical about the lower price, I had always used Hinson but these outlasted them already. After racing around the blistering summer heat here in GA all summer they are still fresh and tight. I just bought another set for my son’s CR also. I was impressed and I recommend them, big thumbs up.
