John Kirkland,  WA Don't buy for Honda XR/CRF 80/100 Nice big tip, but the way the splines line up the shifter is either really low or you're hitting the crankcase on the upshift. The BBR shifter is a perfect fit for these models.

Allan Aurora,  IL Sunline Alloy Shifter for KTM 450exc I bought this replacement shifter because the stock shifter tip had worn through. The price was just a little more than half of the OEM piece so I thought I'd give it a try. The first thing I noticed when installing it is that I could not get the shifter at the same height as the stock piece. It could either be positioned a little higher or a little lower than the OEM shifter. I had tried moving the OEM shifter up one spline shortly after purchasing the bike but found this position to be too high so the fact that the Sunline shifter was about a half spline different from stock turned out to be a benefit for me. I just put in a 50 mile ride on the new shifter and am very pleased with this unexpected adjustment in height but notice that the folding tip has already developed a little play in the pivot. It's still too early to know how durable this shifter will be but it works better than stock for me (size 12 feet) and looks good too.
