My boot finally fits the bike
I got the IMS lever because I couldn't get my big fat boot under the shorter after-market level the previous owner had fitted to my KLR650. It installed easily and the bike shifts like new now that I can actually get my foot under the lever. Fit and finish are great, shipping from MC Superstore was fast and accurate.

Way better than the stock shift lever!
This gear shifter is really strong and abount and inch longer thatn the stock one, but a great fit for my 2006 KLR 650. I am very happy with it. Only thing I did not like is the cheap and thin rubber sleve on the end of the gear shifter. So I took the rubber sleve off of my stock KLR gear shifter and put it on the IMS one. Now it is perfect.

IMS Shift Lever
Had to replace the factory lever and this lever has a nice finish that fit very well. So far no problems on my Japanese Spec 2005 Honda XR250R Supermoto/Motard.

Perfect shifter for off-road pegs
I swapped my '05 KLR's OEM pegs with some off-road ones for better grip. The problem was they were twice as wide, making it impossible to get my boot between the pegs and the OEM shifter. I did some research and found this shifter worked well, and I have to say, it's a fantastic upgrade! Gives you another 1.5 inches of space and worked out perfectly for what I needed. Great design, material and construction!

Just Right!
I bought this for my sons' YZ125. The lever we replaced was really stripped. The IMS lever went on smoothly, the bolt to tighten it was placed in just the right spot to get a good fit with a socket wrench...solid. Made of a much higher quality of steel than the old one (which wasn't stock)and was much heavier, well designed and well made. I'm not worried about having to replace it any time soon. The whole installation took about 5 minutes.

Stellar
Picked this up for my KLR600. I have read some reviews claiming problems with the 650, but from what I can tell, this lever was DESIGNED for the 600. I was missing 2nd gear CONSTANTLY in my MX boots. I looked like a fool on my new ride. A quick change of the shift lever and shifting is easier in any kind of shoes, the lever is super bomb proof, and I don't look like such an idiot anymore. What more can you want for thirty bucks?

Not a good fit!
I got this for my 2002 DRZ400. It didn't fit well at all. It was too short & would have rubbed against the engine side cover. Couldn't use it at all. But the quality was very good.

Folding Shift Lever
The shift lever was easy to put on and fits perfectly on the bike. It is strong and looks great too.
