This is an owners manual. It does not tell you how rebuild from the ground up, as stated in ad. It is the same exact manual that I got from Yamaha when I purchased the bike. Should have spent my money on a shop manual which would have explained more of what I was looking for.

Purchased to evaluate a used virago, before I bought bike. Or in this case didn’t buy bike because it had some serious problems. Only found about then thru manual. Very good book saved me $2500+

It helped me a lot because I had nothing to go on before, especially with specs. Some procedures could be explained better, it just takes more time to figure them out.
